We may have played dull, functional Rugby under Kear when he was stripped of his best, but the worst RL I have seen since the mid 80's is under Agar...when he's had relative luxury regarding resources. We are clueless and disarticulated pillocks under Agar. We look like strangers who dont know each other for most of the games he's been in charge. I wish we were rid.'"
I'm not right into bashing previous teams especially the job that Kear did etc but can't agree with you here at all. I remember some absolutely awful performances under Kear, easily as bad as the last couple. Leaving that 2011 season to one side, in 2010 we were terrible at times and took some right hammerings.

Agreed 2010 was the worst for me. Only time i have happily missed games!
Not one for changing the coach mid season and as far as the league position goes, we are not far off where i would have expected us to be at the start of the season, but......
The manner of our defeats is what is causing me concern. The 2nd half at HKR was terrible, no fight, commitment and what looked like a total lack of interest. I was hoping for some kind of response on Saturday and got absolutely nothing. From minute 1 Cas just wanted it more. Again we didnt look that interested.
We have not improved defensively in the last 18 months. That is a serious worry. We do not work hard enough in defence. Too many people having too many breathers. Basic things like not moving up on the blind, missing too many 1 on 1's, communication, general stuff that should just be the norm. It needs sorting and after 18 month of trying i am not sure RA can do that.
Wigan are Wigan, we dont expect anything from that game (wouldnt it be like Wakey to do something?). The decider for me, could be the Salford game the week after. Lose that live on Sky and i think there would be an impact on the future attendance figures (actual people in the ground!). Which, lets be honest is the only way anyone is going to take notice.

| Like most Im expecting a Geoff Boycott score against us by Wigan but cant see us getting anything from the Salford game to be honest. If we come away from Salford with nothing I fear the fans will stay well away against London.

Salford away will be a trip for the diehards.
We are expecting this game to be on the back of a 4 match losing streak AND its on Sky AND its on a Monday evening, in Manchester.
Anyone going ?

Exactly what I think

Apart from Annakin I wouldn't renew any of this lots contracts or extend them. There are a few fringe players that have not progressed in last 12 months and think a career in the championship beckons for them. There are those in the first 20 who are not up to it week in week out whether its fitness or heart or both I'm not sure but there won't be a queue to sign them. We all know who they are that follow the team so they won't be named.
Can't look at shifting many of them now as need the bodies as squad is so small but there is a lack of passion from such a disjointed defensive and attacking display and think there may be trouble at mill between players and coaches as they clearly aren't taking on board instruction/ coaching if its happening?
In spite of being incandescent at out pathetic display on Saturday and at the time, would have glady packed Agar's bags and driven him home for some gardening leave whilst we found a replacement. However, I think your plan is the right one. We are unlikely to find a good coach who rescues this year so we might as well wait fo Agar to get it together or give him enough rope to hang himself with..almost certainly the latter in my view. I'd keep Amor, Kirmond, Collis, Charlie, maybe Aiton, probably Tautai by the look...bin the rest, they're all unreliable to one extent or another, or getting past it, as well as Annakin.

Nothing under Kear was EVER close to how bad we have been under Agar at times, especially the last 2 performances

Back to Kear
And they have proved over and over again they are the dumbest team in SL...if he is hoping for intelligence, he'll be waiting a long time from what I've seen

Wow. The game was disappointing and the same arguments were being said last year about getting rid etc. Wakefield fans on this forum really are passionate about their club, but this has a tendancy of coming across as being really overreactive and everyone seems to stoke each others fire on any given subject. how will next season be any better? Wholesale changes are not the answer. The team can't do anything if people keep dropping the ball and giving repeat sets. The forwards work hard but obviously get knackered when having to keep tackling rather than attacking. Tim smith has no help now sykes is out, in organising every set, and even then sykes is supposedly quiet. We need 2 wingers who are rock solid under the kick, I'd rather us not give away 4 tries a game than be able to get quick sets if that makes sense? we need a leader of men, a voice who inspires which I'm guessing poore was meant to be and a stand off if sykes is not staying.

| I am and always will be a massive fan of John and what he did at our club, We should have never let kear go in the first place
Had that prat Richardson being shown the door sooner then JK would be still our coach IMO
I would love to see what John would so with this set of players!
All that said JK isn't our coach any more and Richard Agar is, I am sure he'll get the team turned around, the season isn't over yet

I would rather we built our performances on nilling other teams, at moment we play like under 8s on a sunday morning'"
I agree with LDS
JKs last season, he was in charge of a team of under 21s patched up with national league players
JK is without doubt the best coach we've had in the SL era
Any team would be lucky to have him at the helm
The people on here that bagged him during his last season are total idiots
