I think it's somewhere between that and the other end. The hyping of the massive announcement being the lottery meant everything else is judged with suspicion, rightly or wrongly.

I just wish he'd never come out with the 'lifelong fan' or whatever the phrase was when he first took over that was obviously not the whole truth.

To be fair to him I don't remember him ever saying anything about being a lifelong fan. He said he was a Huddersfield Town fan but was new to Rugby League having only come down to watch when his daughter was part of some dance thing on the pitch.

Yeah, and that The city had been good for his business so he wanted to put something back into Wakefield. I think he's been quite open that he doesn't have RL ingrained in him.

Don't ever remember that happening, he was very open about his RL knowledge when he took over.

What the hells up with the Wakey public. The guys provided stability at the club in the short time hes been at BV. Hes put money in to the ground and put the club in a much better place.

You're missing the point a bit here Lampy. Yes he has done all the above and we appreciate it, without him we might not have a club to follow!





The point is, using social media he has in the past over-hyped certain things which have been interpreted in ways perhaps not intended, we are probably at fault just as much as he, but now we have learned not to jump on every word he says.

Just to clarify, it's a small minority of highly strung Wakefield public.
I read his updates and it doesn't bother me in the slightest. Some things that are big to him are not big to me. I'll live with it......ceratinly as long as he keeps delivering, and in my opnion he is improving the club so is delivering.

I don't follow twitter , I just don't get it. Long gone are the days you got the Wakey Exp on a Friday to keep up with the Trinity news , and I understand the need to keep the club in the lime light. Its not that often we make news on the sky text pages or in the daily news papers, if twitters the way forward then so be it. I would prefer for the club to keep fans informed via the web site with an up to date news section.
