| Well over the last 35 years I've had many different spots all over the ground lasting for a few years each. I support the current arrangement. I've seen more flash points in the last couple of years than in the previous 30. What we are now trying to do is no different to what other clubs have been doing for years. I'm now in the North Stand and enjoying by far the best atmosphere ever. Lets move with the times. Agree re bad communication though.

| I was frustrated by not being able to go in via turnstiles on Western Terrace where I always go in but the real issue is communication. If I'd known in advance then I would have been nowhere near as annoyed.
The second problem was that at the northern turnstiles there was a decent sized queue. Now that may mean good attendances but the queue was only for season ticket holders. Cash turnstiles had no queue at all. So one of the benefits of getting a season ticket is ........ you are allowed to have long conversations with other season ticket holders waiting in the queue before going in

yeah probably more trouble equates with more beer, that was the problem at the Cas game more beer outlets were opened . yesterday was lacking atmosphere as we had lost the friendly banter . I take it the Hull directors had their own spot so fighting in the boardroom was avoided ! I still maintain that those up there do not understand us down here !

The queues at the north stand turnstiles look bad but they move quick and you get in in no time

Maybe a meeting with the supporters trust would be in order or did the club let them know what was going
to happen

We have spoken with the Club about this and as TRB has suggesed earlier the matter is not as simple as one might think and there was indeed a very good reason for the segregation.
The Club are well aware of concerns raised on here and will be issuing a Statement shortly.

Do you know what I think that this is bang on and one of the best and most insightful posts I've ever read on here.. I think there at there is a direct relationship between the sale of bottled high profit lager and rowdy behaviour (be that abusive, violent, intimidatory).

| The reasons may well be sound I don't know. However it made for a miserable afternoon for me and if it persists I will stop going to these games. This is not a sulk I just don't like being told where to go and what to do at BV. That was the beauty of RL when I first got into it and without that freedom BV is a fairly unattractive place to be.
A better solution is needed. Why not have away fans in the eastern terrace instead were they are naturally pinned in?

Must be something to do with Cas on friday, anyhow lets get it out in the open and then we can work together and move on.

| The club can never please all the peaple all of the time.
I think the majority of us agree with the principle of the western terrace.
I,along with others have stood in all parts of the ground over the years, and if i had to say,it would be
the western terrace as my favourite view point,BUT the club are trying there best to improve the match day
atmosphere, and in that they are/have succeeded.
Would we be on the 7 th page if we had won!!?? no we would have been saying how great the north stand sounded, was like a extra man.
Whats our moto again...........TOGETHER......................

How have you concluded that the majority of people agree with segregation?
Why do you think their motives are to improve the atmosphere?
How does giving the closest part of the ground to the pitch to away support improve the atmosphere? Are you aware that the North Stand noise can barely be heard at the flats?
Sadly this is about selling lager and taking the profit from that and not being prepared to deal with the consequences of this rather than anything else.

You seem to have an obsession with "lager sales",did you not get a drink on monday?
Up until the roof being added on the north stand, the "home" support at BV has been poor down the years,so
by encouraging more people,(including myself and many others) the atmosphere is 10 times better.
OR ARE YOU ALWAYS IN THE BAR TRYING TO GET A LAGER!

I’m guessing the capacity on the east terrace may be a problem, especially when the likes of Leeds & Wigan come to town.
But what about the east stand, will that become segregated, or is it that once you refrain from standing up the chance of any altercation decreases.
