| Wakefield is a city in its own right, size is not important to me or many others, it seems to you and a few other Leeds fans that it does.
BIG Wow.

| Wakefield is a decent sized city. Leeds has areas that would give the slums of south africa a good run for their money. Honestly say wakefield hasnt got areas like that. Proud of OUR city.

I suggest you take 5 minutes out and read this. It might just open your blinkered big city eyes.

| That`s why I support the Leeds Rhinos born and bred there.
Not so sure your "city" has any soul left tbh which is a real shame.
Most of the people I know who live in Wakefield come to Leedsto enjoy themselves.

Wakefields been a City longer than Leeds and securing that status was as much to do with Wakefield being the Administrative Centre for Yorkshire as it is to do with one of the countries most magnificent Cathedrals (something Leeds doesn't have).
I wouldn't consider Leeds for a night out for a single minute and would rather go to Manchester, Newcastle or Birmingham.

| Wakefield city centre is fairly embarrassing what with all the goths, kosovans and Jeremy Kyle issue Brits.
But at least we aren't responsible for Jimmy Saville!!

| It's time like this you remind yourself how fortunate you are that i was born, raised and reside in Wakefield. As was my father and his mother who are or were all WT fans. I don't care for cups, trophies, accolades, i attend because i grew up on those terraces with those fans who are the best in SL.
Thankfully, i wasn't born in Leeds otherwise i fear i'd not have enjoyed my RL and doubt i'd have shared the terraces with some of those big city wigs.

Now then, now then, don’t be brining that one up.
There’s quite a few on their board that are still in denial regarding their favourite son, as it ‘appens.

What about Kinsley, Fitzwilliam, Upton and Emsall. Slumlands of Yorkshire.

So you would rather watch a team that has won very little lately to a team that has constantly performed on the big stage becoming SL Champions and WCC winners?
Maybe some of us Leeds fans who were born in Leeds prefer to watch and support the Rhinos but for different reasons.
Our cup finals start in August whilst yours start on Boxing Day.

I think that explains everything
I watch Wakefield because they are my local team, my father and his father before him watched them too.
I have built up a loyalty from watching them in good times and bad over the years.
You imply Leeds fans watch cos they win things. Does that mean you would have supported Wigan in the 80s and Widnes in the 70s, might be tough between Bradford and Sts in the early Super League years.
Shallow at best mate.
As for Leeds as a city, I work here and like the city a lot. It is a moedrn thriving city....but Wakefield is my city and that's where my loyalty is.
