I await being shot down in flames for negativity but we shouldn't get carried away with things. Some brilliance, some sheer unadulterated drivel. Exciting, commited, spirited yes, gelled...nope'"
Yeah you are being a bit negative over a few threads at the moment fella, yes it wasn't a perfect performance, but when all the smoke is cleared we have come back from 20 points down (how many teams do that over the course of a season?)
First half, Cockayne and Mathers in particular were stinking the joint out, but it's the old adage, it's not about how you fall, its about how you get up, and we have totally bossed FC today. Yes the skill factor wasn't there for long periods of the match, but if you have team spirit and a few individuals capable of magic (Ali, Smith etc) then your'e always in with a shout.

| I couldn't make the game today because of another commitment, but I was able to catch it on Yorkshire Radio. I do feel that despite my early misgivings about Agar he is perhaps getting a lot of things right. I listened to Danny Kirmond's interview before the game, and he made a very good point about the team never feeling like they had given up in any game, never stopped trying, and there was some evidence of that today maybe.
From watching the tries, some of the Hull ones were embarrassingly easy and so perhaps we have some weaknesses in reading attacks, but our own attack never gave up, and I feel more optimistic than I did a few weeks ago.
A win against Leeds would be fantastic, not only for our own top eight chances but also to harm the Rhino's season. I would be happy with 10th, given that there is a gap opening up between us and the bottom, and with our coach in charge of purchasing, and with the momentum and attraction of a new ground for players, we might have a really good off-season.

| I think that Danny Washbrook will have had a good days work today. A lot of his work seems to go unnoticed but he always seems to be well positioned in both attack & defence, he took his try well.
Also I might be in a minority here but I don`t think many superleague players would have scored the last 2 tries that big Ali as scored in the past week, from todays try he looked to be about 2 or 3 metres out when he lunged for the line today.
Big raps for the whole squad & coach for there belief to win today.

You can only play what's in front of you at the end of the day, and for the last 30 minutes of the game you dominated a completely shattered and lacklustre Hull side. There's a real issue at our club with finishing the game. I'm not sure if it's fatigue, anxiety or complacency, but you had something that we didn't and that's what won you the game so fair play.
In patches Hull looked very good. But only in small patches.
Congrats and all the best for the rest of the season. Great atmosphere today and some good banter with your fans. Only a small group of idiots outside goading the Hull fans, but you get them at all clubs.

| I've been watching us nearly 30 years and I can never ever recalling us turning a 20 point deficit over, how did it happen? I don't really care, quality stuff! Happy for Agar...happy days

I'm guessing you weren't paying much attention on Good Friday in 2011 then.

Wellsy IMHO Hull didnt look like an 80 minute side you reminded me of us a few weeks ago a 60 minute team, it maybe conditioning because the amount you spend on players compared to the likes of us you should in reality be wiping the floor with us. As we approach the full cap over the coming seasons I can see us being a real force with a couple of years of club 1873 underpinning the club with youth, a new stadium to attract quality players (fingers crossed) that said its very rare we dont give you a good game but in reality you should have shut us down.

| Nothing to do with fitness.
It's always said but in reality you might get one player or two under done but not a whole team.
Wakefield worked them hard and it tolled in the end.

I agree, there's something good going on down at Wakefield, and although expectations may not be high just now (rebuilding), with the stadium move you could begin to be a real threat. Bigger crowds, better facilities, a chairman with some money, youth production line. I hope it all comes off because quite frankly the Wakefield of old were not exactly an advert for SL.

Respectfully disagree.
We had the majority of possession up to that point of the game. How come we faded and you didn't? We worked you hard up to that point as well.
When a team fails to score last in a game 14 games out 17, as well as fail to prevent the other team scoring point in the back end of the game 14 games out of 17, with 5 of those instances seeing the result change from a win into either a draw (twice) or a loss (three times), I think it says more about us.
If Hull could hold on in those last ten minutes, we'd be joint top of the league. As it stands, we've thrown away 8 SL points.

Well it would be us, never the Hull fans at fault is it. Funny how it's goading when you're receiving it and banter when you're giving it - think on.
