| I've heard Glover has employed extra staff to rubber stamp WTID on everyones forehead that enters through turnstiles other than Donny road, to ensure rogue scum fans can easily be spotted mingled in with us. The stewards have been equipped with a cattle prod and tazer to make sure they don't stray from the designated areas. You have been warned !!!!!

| All the fuss could have been avoided had this been made clear before tickets went on sale,I can see this causing all kinds of problems for stewards has some cas fans will try to get into the north stand.

| Quote: nottinghamtiger "I think some are overeacting (particularly on Casforum!) but it does just seem a bit like the club are saying "we have got a new roof now so you can't stand here".
And obviously it's the first time it has been done, so looks like it is deliberately directed at Cas fans. However, I think most will be more understanding when supporters from other teams are banned from standing there too???
The east stand terrace will be the away friendly area from now on

It would cause alot more problems if we hadn't had done this. Lads out all day, the more vocal Trin fans moving from Chav corner to the new north stand it has all the ingredients to kick off this Move by the club take the heat out the situation. It WTRLFC who are responsible for crowd controll and if they hadn't have done this and there was trouble people would say the club hadn't done anything to prevent it happening and we'd get a RFL fine. I think it's a case of nipping it in the bud before it happens

| Its taken 30 years to replace the old South Stand and this is the nearest we have come. In the olden days opposition supporters entered at their peril!

Wouldnt a zero tolerance approach to drunken behaviour of had the same outcome?
The main sticking point is how the tickets have been sold in the first place (General Admission).
I would imagine a forward thinking businessman like Mr Glover could have forseen the need and reacted with more than 2 days notice.

If you refer to the information given out by WT then away supporters will be 'allowed' into the North standing area (under cover)

The tickets normally say ground admission the east terrace and north east terrace is the ground. What does it say on your fev tickets as you can only stand in one area there can't you.

| It should be;
North Stand should be the Home Stand
Then East & West Stand for both home and away.

If any Cas fans have a problem and no longer want their tickets then i'm sure if you ask cas for a refund they will provide it and send the tickets back to Wakey. Means more tickets for the Wakey fans that way at least.
I think this plan is going to be the case for all other teams visiting BV from now on so it not Cas that are being singled out, more that the stand was only completed yesterday so you've copped for it first. Didn't really count against Catalan! When at Wheldon Road I have only ever stood in the end wiith the open terrace whatever the weather. So if you want to segerate at Cas go for your your life. Lets be honest for a set of fans who have put up with a ground without cover for pretty much forever its hardly going to be an issue is it!

As I posted on the Cas site...
The RFL has been consulted in all this and are in full agreement with what is happening, just as they are with the Featherstone game. The stand will be heavily policed by stewards to ensure that order is maintained. Any fan(s) of either team deemed to be causing an issue in the oppositions designated area will be dealt with appropriately and the relevent authorities informed. This game should be enjoyed by all and any trouble causers from both clubs will be punished.

Personally I don't have a problem with where I stand I just feel it could and should have been dealt with much better and not 24hrs before the game.i hope the cas fans adhere to what's been put in place and I hope it's more than a few stewards that's going to form the segregation has anything other than a solid barrier will see supporters from cas trying to get behind the posts.

I agree that it would have been better if this had been made public earlier but now it is I hope that it is adhered to. The last thing either club needs is trouble, you certainly get the impression big brother is watching closely. I think the fact that our CEO is on paternity leave and our chairman in is Spain probably has probably slowed down the communication process. Bad timing I know!
