Your suggestion that who Thaler supports had any bearing on the result or the way he reffed is quite frankly ill thought out.FWIW i thought he reffed reasonably well albeit too lenient with Widnes.Although i believe some officials are more cr&p than others i dont believe any are bent.

I have watched Wakey for years, that was gritty and full of determination. A very good display all round.

Not sure what the actual rules are at this time as they seem to be changed every year now but for 3 head shots to be penilised in such a short space of time, some action needed to be taken. None of them was particulary bad but someone did deserve to go the bin for them but not sure if binning a player for a head high shot is allowed.

Cross was sent off for decent, not for the numerous high shots that he had made in the previous 70 mins (about 8 at my count 5 of which were in the 2nd half)

Virtually every tackle he made was an attack to the head - he was warned about it, chelped at Thaler and was binned for dissent; the bloke's a liability.

They should have had someone binned before then for giving away persistant penalties.

Overall, they did seem to have very poor discipline - I thought Ah Van and Isa were both guilty of numerous high tackles and Scott Moore should have walked for a professional foul.

Couldn't believe the Moore incident, sin bin everytime for me.
