Gledhill should have nailed Chase when his kick bounced back to him.
Instead he was allowed to dance merrily along our line (not for the 1st time in the game) and then pass to fatboy Widders.

After watching Gledhill last night, I reckon his future could be in the second row rather than the front. He doesn't seem big enough to be a prop in my opinion, but, with his build, could be used to have a similar impact to Mariano.

I don't like to do this, but I did say that several months ago, before he appeared to fall out of favour with Mr Kear. Hopefully he'll play there next season, rather than bulk up too much in the off-season and as a result, lose his mobility.
As for Tommy Lee - I think some people are being overly harsh; he dropped into a scratch side and has covered a pivotal role that isn't his natural position. I'd still like to see him get a go at hooker and I think he's earned that chance.

bang on re Lee
Gledhills a young lad for prop and if thats his position then he will be developed, I do think he is better built for the second row at the moment.
I did like some of the lines Johnson ran at second row he and Mariano could go really well next year, we do need a really good half back though lack of creativity is killing us.

Move him up the pecking order infront of Ellis and Wildie ?
I have seen enough of Lee and no matter where you play him he will still miss tackles, put in crap kicks and send out poor passes.
Just one other point, the way he got caught in possesion at dummy half on the very last play yesterday shows how poor and slow he would be at hooker.

I don't get the praise surrounding Lee either. That last tackle play was criminal, and I would hate to think Wildie's (although he is a half, I expect his early career to be in the hooking role) game time would be limited because someone as ineffective as Lee is in front of him.

I concur, if there is any possibility at all he is surplus to requirements at Leeds then he should be signed up before someone else gets him.

I don't think its exactly praise he is getting, more give him a chance in his natural position before casting him aside. Don't get me wrong, if we want to improve and get off the bottom of the league in time we need players of better quality than Lee in key positions (1,6,7,9,13) and in an ideal world I would be looking to let him go, but he wont be on massive money and he deserves a shot at 9 before culling him.
Ellis with Wildie/Davey/Lee/Ellis - perm any 2 from that for next year. Of course any coach with next season in mind would have probably shuffled the pack and given him the last 5 or 6 games at 9 to see if he is worthy.

Totally agree - the lad is an absolute workhorse and appears to love it at Wakey.

| Lee should be either at hooker or sat in the stands, preferably the latter. The more I see him play the worse ge seems to get. He's way too ponderous to play in the halves, his open passing game is terrible. He is also constantly out of position defensively. Interchange hooker next year if one of Ellis or Wildie are injured at best for him, the rest of the time he can spend on the golf course for me.
