| The point here, regardless of JK's past record, is that if the dressing room has been "lost" then there is no point in Mr Kear being anywhere near the players.
We should either ask Tony Drury to take temporary charge of the first team or even ask Morro, because despite all the problems that we've had this season, the fans should be given something to cheer about.
If this doesnt have an effect, at least we tried.
As things stand, we are in for another 40 point reverse and 80 minutes of one out rugby.

Seems to me that we need a new coach with excellent navigational skills as every coach in the last 25 years has 'lost' the dressing room at some point.

You may be right JT, but even taking into account the strength of the squad this season, I cant remember a group of players playing with so little passion and lack of pride in the shirt.

Where did that get us then before we appointed Kear? It got us finishing 2nd bottom year on year. The only exceptions were when Kelly and McNally were in charge and both of them were removed, wrongly in my opinion, and where did we return to oh yes 2nd bottom again! Kear gave the club stability it has gone wrong this season yet we have still achieved more than anybody expected this season.

Really? What about the 2005 team they finished 5th in 2004 and had a good run in the play offs the next year they were near on bottom of the league and they were a bunch of talented players. Now they really must have been playing with no pride or passion. Whenever things are going badly the accusation is always that there is no pride or passion and this case is no different to the numerous other times.

We lost Ellis though and replaced him with Satan's Spawn.

Getting stuffed by 40 plus points every week and making the "bottom" club look like top 6 contenders is really difficult to take.
I know all the cliches about winning habbits and losing habbits. However is it also not the case that when faced with a situation as we have at present, something or someone has to be the catylist to change that.
As has been said on another thread, the team that came out in the second half against Crusaders looked like theyd been told at halftime not to bother in the second half. What changed ?

I think because of the franchising system and because of the financial problems at the start of the season I've become a little bit numb to the performances on the pitch especially since we got the licence. If I'm honest the defeats don't hurt so much becuase there is nothing to play for the 'game' has already been decided. Don't get me wrong I loved Hull away and cas away and beating Hudds at home was brilliant but the enthuisaism has gone a bit. I've missed more games this year than I have for many, many years. Keep Kear, sack Kear it makes so little difference I don't really know why I'm even debating it. Next season is what it is all about and hopefully the team, the club and the supporters will be back bigger, better and stronger and ready to start putting us back where we belong.
That said it would be nice to beat cas on Saturday!

With limited resources available at the beginning of the season and the club brinking on extinction, what did everyone expect this season? People have very short memories.'" 1000% right this is not fair slating him.

Let's not forget we are talking about the same man who a couple of weeks before the franchise announcement went on public record stating he was interested in the Cas job, then when he finds out that we are safe goes on record again saying how much he loves being at Wakefield and wants a new contract. Yes he has gone through a lot in his tenure at Belle Vue, but that doesn't automatically give him a free pass. He said that we would be a better side in round 27 what a load of ballcocks.'"
I see your point i think he got it wrong saying he was interested in the cas job, i think he shot himself in the foot. Lets go forward new coach new ideas and a new wakey.

I cant get my head around why he plays lee. i dont think i have seen him have a good game and his kicking has been poor.
