let's hope we prepare properly and don't treat it as a celebration. the crusaders players will be hurting and will fight bloody hard. i'd hate to see us lose.
also for the sake of visiting fans, i hope we show some humility. it's not the fault of the fans that they were promoted too soon, and in bed with the rfl.

That's not great, I agree.
I still think that the couple of shysters who own Crusaders have got to shoulder the lions share of the blame on this one, but it does seem that the RFL held on until the very last minute, perhaps in an attempt to formulate the best face-saving strategy?
The players, fans and club employees are right to be angry - I'm just not sure who with. |

I would say the owners need to shoulder most of the blame, as they must have known for a while that they were struggling.
I don't believe for one minute that they left it till last weekend to do some projections and found they were not viable.
They should have announced this weeks ago and saved everyone a great deal of grief, players, fans, the RFL, other clubs.
