Not sure but by planning it I would’ve thought it would be used to sell memberships, and hopefully at the discounted price too.

If I were in charge, I'd say balls to the WE voucher and just make every cash ticket for Sunday an automatic Silver Membership - don't even offer a choice.

"Giving" memberships away gratis, probably isn't the right thing to do as far as our franchise is concerned.
Presumably the club has some "agreement" with the WE, with regards to some kind of remuneration, otherwise the "need" for members becomes a futile exercise.
This deal should be enough for any right minded supporter, not currently a member to become one.
I agree that that if pos they should be available right up to K.O off on Sunday, I think however the deal was to run until the 9th.

Does anyone else think that we are sometimes preaching to the converted? we advertise in the wakey express and have boards as you are coming into wakefield, but why not try the barnsley chronicle, its only 10 mins down the M1. As much as I agree with you on the non supporters aspect, this is not solely about them, this is about collecting members to tick a franchise box as I understand it, and that would be easier done (collecting 5000 members) from the existing support.
I think Saturdays event will be aimed more at mopping up the remainder from the former supporters and man and women from the street.
My OP was aimed more at the clubs inability to give the memberships away FWIW, this would be as ridiculous as my take on clubs inflating their poor attendances by giving tickets away.
