is he an out an out FB though? I know Hull played him there when I saw em but he hasn't always played there has he? that's part of his problem for me, although Kear loves a utility...

its a bit bad when full back is the only position you can play, he has speed and can tackle he says he can't find another role

I've only ever seen him play at FB and his form has ranged from the sublime to the ridiculous.

If he is a utility player, then I'd concur with the suggestion of dropping Tony and putting Tansey on a match by match contract, linked to his behaviour.

As far as i'm aware he and Tomy play the same positions, difference being, Tansey is young and british as per JK's requirement's. I think there will be quite a few SL club's keeping tab's on him, just to see how he goes on. After all, player's like him dont become available for free very often. Please no . Lets use the money on a quality prop or a scrum half. Tansey is a poor to average player. Why would we want him. It would be a stupid signing and would not make 1 Jot of difference !

Yes he is not the prop(s) or scrum half we are screaming out for but in my opinion he would definately improve our squad.
Aswell as fullback he played in the halves (and centre & hooker) at both Hull and Leeds and personally i think hes a better option at 6 than anything we currently have (other than BJ on a good day)

The off the field issues only JK can decide, but a 6 month contract until the end of the season would be a no brainer for me. He must realise its his last chance to make a living out of the game and hopefully that will benefit us???

Just speaking as someone on the outside. I can't understand why you've not signed this player. You severely lacking in creativity and Tansey showed for us last year what he's capable of. If i were you i'd be looking to play Tony at fullback and Tansey at 6. Then put Lee back to 9

At the moment he would be displacing Murphy and/or Vievers. They are both doing very well as far as I am concerned. And if they don't, eventually Tony is available.
Why bother with a risk player. He isn't that good.
