me too,

on the risk knowing how the club was retailing just after last season I held back to the final day before buying them and then used the visa which protects goods bought, don't want to make the claim but the option is there

A similar thing happened with the Sheffield Steelers over the summer. Season tickets, though the money had gone, were honoured by the new owners.

It would be a huge risk for a new board to not honour existing season tickets especially given the small take up anyway. How many 'new' season tickets would they be likely to sell? Not that it's a major concern just yet but it's an interesting point.

kcab sfrawdder Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!:9005.jpg

I see it as inconceivable that you don't play SL this year given how late it now is , although most likely it will need some input from the RFL

If that was the case then the Championship in 2012 also seems inevitable , the most important thing then would be to remain at BV if at all possible , to run in the Championship at max SC level without extra input you need to pull in around 3,000 fans in your own ground , or at least a ground you control and retain income streams without paying massive rent

You will be welcomed down here if that's were you end up

the marketing of a restructured club is critical to who ever takes over (if it happens) as they would have to regain the confidence of the supporter

I wouldn't be surprised to see your crowd numbers increase this coming season.

Quote: Disney cat "Not up on all this but if the club went into admin before the season started would all season tickets be nil & void
If you look at the deal to take Crusaders out of Administration the existing season tickets were honoured by the new management.

As has already been suggested, any new owner would be playing with fire if they didn't honour the season tickets that had already been sold. IMO that would not just be with those who already have their season tickets, but with those fans who don't - I haven't got a season ticket as I can't make it to enough matches for it to be worthwhile, but I would not spend any more money with the club if any new owner didn't stand by the good faith demonstrated by the fans who already have their season tickets.

I just want the 2nd of Feb to come one decision I have made is to stay away and spend nothing in the shop etc until we are rid of any connection to Ted Richardson and Rodgerson/Maskill. Only then will I return.
I would also hope they never have the brass neck to even step foot in the ground again not even to sell a program.
They have blamed everybody for the bloody mess this great club is in everybody other than the real villains the ones who sit in the board room.
As for Kear/Stevenson and Elson they deserve a bloody medal

"Castleford's biggest home crowd of the 1991-1992 season wasn't quite 12,000 while on average they'd sit around 6000 but the noise, the chanting and the singing just blows you away" - Tawera Nikau "Standing Tall" "I can tell you the atmosphere was extraordinary at Wheldon Road on big days. The ground held around 15,000 people, every one of them close to the action on the field and the noise would be enough to send a rumble through the town" - Malcolm Reilly "Reilly - A Life in Rugby League":d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_39793.jpg

The 2nd Feb is the date of the Court Hearing. I think you will have some news during next week.

TBH mate, a new beginning may be the best bit of marketing available.

I voted No and not because I want to see the club fold; neither do I wish to see the current BoD continue to pull the club further into this current abyss.
Maybe it's the way I was brought up but the idea of taking individuals & business for monies & services provided in good faith does not sit well with me.
Imagine if you were one of the debtors (and no I am not one) then how would you feel. Would you deal with a new club whatever there name or structure? Call the club what you want but repairing the good name and standing would not be easy.
Administration seems to be inevitable but It does not sit well with me and I loath the people who have put us in this position.

Good post sir, however we will and we will be better for it, but your sentiment is 100% right, unfortunately for us and our creditors we can't afford the sentiment.
If I was any kind of business, in that line of work, I wouldn't have touched is with a barge pole over the last few years.

Quote: RDM "What the club needs is a clean slate & a fresh ownership structure. The only way this can be achieved is through a period of Administration, even though it virtually seals our fate as far as July's decision over SL franchises go.'"
Although looking at it Admin is going to be your only real option it has to be said that Admin could be well the beginning of the end cause if no one takes the club on they will liquidate you unfotunately.
Some seem to think its gunna be easy as if Admin is some kind of sliver bullet.
