Yeh Bren2k i guess it did sound a little bit condescending but i think what Speedy is trying to say is that as fans of any club that you have supported a long time, you can become very emotional over it and this can sometimes make you think irrationally!!
I think that Ted is hoping that will be the case and also that 500 smaller investors would not want to do the Due dilligence that one or two larger investors would, in essence they could get away with treating you all like Mushrooms!! |

Why all of a sudden is it so imperitive that the club has only three week to get this money sorted, because it seems to me that once again we are being led up the garden path here, can you say in all honesty that this money is for investment and not to pay off outstanding debts which we have been led to believe has been paid.

And what if we do find the money? Then we still have a club; we still have a plan for NM; we still have our plan B for 2012; we still have an application for SL to submit.
What on earth have we spent all these years fighting for - perhaps we should have just accepted defeat in 2004 instead of forming SWAG.
No - we believed in the club then and we have to believe in it now. Many will not be able to put £1k, but we can all have influence on those who - between them - can make a difference.
The trolls are filling their boots, but nothing is beyond us - yet!

Why is everybody a troll TRB??? just because they don't want to be emotionally blackmailed into parting with a not insignificant amount of money for a scheme that looks like it was devised on the back of a Fag Packet!!
You are the biggest apologist for Wakefield Wildcats i have ever come across.........Your fans need some answers to some pretty important questions and if TED were to come clean with a fully open state of the nation address he might gain some more sympathy from these fans, but the cloak and dagger approach is killing this deal!! How many of these £1000 shares are you buying anyway?? and be honest!! |

We can assume from this seasons recruitment that although its shabby in terms of well known names we have money to carry on with the club for the coming season, otherwise what would have been the point of getting new players in, and the day to day running costs will come from ST and gate reciepts plus sponsorship money, so if thats the case then why all of a sudden we are faced with having to come up with having to find this money in a very limited time unless it is to pay off outstanding bills which have not been paid, perhaps you could give us an insight, and I can assure you I am not trolling just confused. |
