Surely if they have a firm plan B in place, which they should have, the other party would understand the importance of the need to publicise said plan B asap, otherwise plan b may not be required and they won't make any profit that they stand to make if it goes ahead.

So the upshot of the meeting was that there is a good Plan B, but the finishing touches are still being applied. If that fails, there are contingency plans.

the aim of the meeting was for the board to ask the shareholders which path they would like the club to take. Plan B, C or D. Shareholders voted and that's now what the club will finalise. All the talks with other parties have taken place already. I can understand if people don't have the money to put into the club and that they feel they should know all the goings on as they pay there money for the tickets for the games but some things have to be kept quiet for now.
