Easy rule of thumb here - never pay any attention to anything, positive or negative, a player says. 99% of the time it's to please the club he's at and make the supporters like him.

Usually it's the old "XYZ is a great club, I've always admired Mr. Coach when at other clubs and look forward to working under him. Mr. Chairman has run a steady ship here and I'm glad he wants me to help the club grow…" followed a year later by "It's run by muppets, the coach is a joke, the club is a shambles."

I would far sooner have a club who have little resource but a big heart than have any number of big idiots with a heart the size of a pea and the thought processes of a sulky schoolboy!

Paul - you were crap while you were here and you're even worse now. You came with a reputation and left with a different one. Remind me, how many clubs were seeking your services? How long did we have to wait to announce your signing so that you could settle your divorce? How many weeks did you miss training because you 'ran into your own team mate?

Do us all a favour - just keep your bitterness to yourself and get on with the rest of your life! We'll do so much better for not having you here!

oh and that il written e from pj sour grapes with a spot of truth thrown in , thats my opinion of him and his tabloid rubbish , I was in full favour of him well nearly but what e he produced on the field, as for defensive plans im sure we have lots but the main one stop the opposition scoring went a miss for most of the games along with the lets win this one and and for once score more than them. we will only ever have rumours regards what really goes on in the upper management of the trin but one things for sure we dont need bad press from a second rate second rower /stroke sub. I have heard so many rumours regards what goes on,only one things suprises me these days "winning".

What's a stroke sub? Due to his injuries, was his role purely to just sit on the bench and gently stroke the substitutes before they came on? (not literally...)

I find it ironic he has had a good moan about money and has now gone to a club that can't pay the players they already have, let alone the one's they have just signed.

So why did we want to sign him, and wait on him, in the first place when he's not the player he was 5 years ago due to the injuries he's accumulated? Can't blame player for taking the cash which should never have been offered to him.

I for one thought he was a good signing for us, perhaps that's why I feel so disappointed that it didn't work out. He was clearly unhappy, and there's no problem with that, but I don't see how anyone gains from outbursts such as this - discuss it in private, and even discuss it with your new employers if it helps to explain why you haven't performed as well as you can do, but just move on....
