Still I got 2 new pairs of Wildcats socks, a baseball cap and a keyring and a free ticket. Perhaps not £3k gold bar (PS it wasn't real - was lead painted gold)'"
I might turn up kitted out at next home game and have a bash

I used to play football and was a goalkeeper, after training we would oftan mess about with a rugby ball trying to hit the crossbar from the halfway line and on several occasions in my boots i must add, i kicked it over the bar. I am not trying to be big headded and say i would definatly do it but i am saying that it is possible.

Part of it could have been to attract floating Wakey fans back or even new fans, more chance of that happening v Wigan than Cats or Quins.
Just a thought.

Do you reckon thats the same size pitch as the on used yesterday, just for the sake of debate.

And as usual the players put in a perf likely to turn more fans away than attract any back

| I'd like to see the 3k challenge continued at HT until someone finally nails it! Eric permitting. 3 -5 fans chosen by raffle or something every match, it was quite interesting/humorous with the stakes being high.

Probably not and there is def no slope...ive played down there in a final...and it felt very big... i made a break from our own 20 and after sprinting for what seemed like the full length i was only in their 40...looks alot bigger than it does from the stands...

Possibly could be used as an initiative to sell pre bought match tickets. Throw them in with the season tickets and draw the ticket numbers out at HT for the lucky people to get a chance of winning money.

| Me and my mate had a little chuckle about this, when the lady competetion winner said she didnt want to do it and her husband did it for her, it would have been quality if her husband had been Frano Botica or some one along those lines...
On my own??? Ok then

Said the same, wondered if Pat Richards might have given up his half time orange for a half share in the booty. I reckon for the sake of PR they should stick a ringer in once every 3 or 4 games - get all over the papers and the media when we have a "winner"

Soccer player kicks ball over the (cross) bar..............no change there then
I reckon a few top kickers from the amature leagues would have been worth a go. Full kit, publicity, raise money etc.

We could have someone from the Academy/reserves each week take part too to add a bit of spice.
I think even if it isn't for a 3k prize it could be a welcome addition, I'm bored of sumos catching the bomb and dancers dancing 70 yards from the main stand.
Maybe the longest kick wins a prize each week between an home and away fan, like a 'raising the bar' type comp.
