Dont be suprised if at some point JD goes to 6, with Latu at loose and Sam/James rotating at hooker. Might even start that way.

Shame for Morton, he wasn't alone in missing tackles and some of the senior players can count themselves lucky it wasn't them.

Still he's had a decent stint and dropping him after a torrid time may be better then him getting targeted in future matches.

I'd be gutted if i were Dale Morton or even Aaron Murphy. Both lads have played pretty well upto date and whilst some may lay the blame at Morton for some of last weeks tries it was clearly those inside of him that left Dale stranded.

Murphy had been a revelation at Fullback and has been shifted to the wing to include Blaymire. What happened to the philosphy that you have to wait your turn to make the 17 if the others are in form?

I would'nt argue with that as long as JK's had his arm round Dale and explained the why and the what to him.

I 've been on the receiving end of both bad management and being hung out to dry for too long, Its not nice!
Also seen a few youngsters confidence destroyed by too much exposure too soon (Mark Field).
No-one likes to be dropped but its a cruel to be kind situation where more mature heads have to do whats best and conducive to the enhancement a young prospects career.

Dale Mortons done superbly well in the games he's had and his time will come again, he'll probably be a better player for being dropped whilst also being better placed to cement himself as a fixture in the team next time around.

Be proud of yourself Dale, you've achieved such a lot in a short time!

It's tough on the lad but as long as he has drive and determination this should hopefully just spur him on. i'd be very surprised if behind the scenes he hasn't had the arm around the shoulder treatment.
Dale if you're daft enough to read these boards then you'll realise there is a lot of good feeling towards you from the trinity fans and we expect you to have a bright future at the club
