The parking fine put a slight dampner on Sunday. Glad we did not lose and I recieve one. A few Rhinos fans near me also recieved one. 2 hours on a sunday my car minding its own business down a little backstreet in Agbrigg and they decide to give me a ticket. I have parked around there for 6 years. I was causing a obstruction apparently (yes to a double decker bus) that would not even go down a backstreet. Its justpathetic 2 hour on a Sunday its a joke. They need to get a life people like this. Either go to court or pay it .

Many people appear to have gotten a ticket. It might be worth collating the information of where and how you were parked and putting it up on here for future reference for anyone who goes by car to BV.

I’ve always parked up near the Belle Vue and Agbrigg Community Centre without any problems. I used to park in the associated car park until they put bollards up to stop people from using it even though the community centre is closed.

ITs pathetic isn't it im sure the world is not going to end just because people are parked round there for 2 hour on a sunday. IT was nobodys drive way no double yellow lines no white lines. Just apparently causing a obstruction it says on the ticket rule number 214 it says .

If you were blocking the path then that’s why you may have been issued with a ticket. I think there needs to be at least 1m space on the pavement for pedestrians to get by, back street or not.
