don't know where you stand at but i haven't heard many complaints round us but agree with you matt has done a great job this season . i wouldn't trade him for any other clubs full back and as far as hendo is concerned , can't fault the lad. good, hardworking, tackles anything that moves and makes few errors.

I don't have a problem with Henderson's work rate (or anyone else for that matter), I just think there comes a time when hard working players have to give way for quality. If the club wants to push on, then players will have to make way, some of whom maybe popular with the fans.

Quality cost money something we do not have a lot of. Horses for courses re Henderson. We can put him in the Duncan Mcgivallry (sorry spelling)mold. Very much appreciated at the time but will not be missed when he finally moves on. I do think Henderson has been very solid for us this season. I cannot remember him making a mistake. Why look for faults?

I'm not looking for faults, just ways we can improve. And I fully agree that we have the best coach in Super League. As for being small minded and petty, I seem to remember a large amount of supporters calling for Kear's head during the poor run half way through last season and am pleased to say I wasn't one of them.

I really don’t think there was a large proportion, perhaps one or too of the more fickle supporters out there but that was it.

He's not flash, he's not a gamebreaker - he's solid and reliable, and gives confidence to those in front of him AND he's getting better and learning.

Against Hull he got trampled by Yeaman in a 'two on one' scenario 'cos he was trying to cover both players instead of just ting the guy with the ball- against Saints in a similar scenario he made a try saving tackle (against Wellens?) that effectively won us the match as much as any of our trys did.

Changing the subject then, I also thought that Blanch was going to be missed massively this season. However, I now reckon that due to the form of Murphy and Morton, Blanch my not be expecting to walk straight back into the side and could effectively leave Pietersen as our 4th choice winger?
