We are loosing Atkins and replacing him with Millard, Atkins is English so thats a plus on his side, however Millard is a better player in many peoples opinion. So at the end of the day the team gets strenghtened so if it happens then its a plus for me.

This signing looks more & more likely to me, according to today`s League Weekly JK`reply when asked about him said..."He`s a very good player, isn`t he?! Should be a good signing along with Millard if its true! Just hope we don't sign too many as this year we only brought in 2 players so it didn't take much gelling together.

Ty Williams is a winger with the Cowboys, will be 29 in November, played 3 SOO games in 2005, as NRL wingers go I would class him as no better than average, the Cowboys other winger - Michael Bani - would be a better, younger prospect, not the finished article but is rated by Cowboys fans.

I really think Trinity should avoid spending too much money on expensive wingers. They are a luxury and not an integral part of the squad. An average winger will score bucket loads of tries playing off a decent half and centre, a world class winger will score sod all with an average half and centre.

In my mind they need to be defensively sound, safe under the high ball and have a bit of pace about them, anything else is a bonus.

Morton did well. No real mistakes and took his try well. Also did a great tackle on Louie Anderson when he look certain to score

Couldn't agree more. Think we have more than enough youngsters who can play on the wing rather than 'wasting' an overseas spot and extra cash on a winger.

As for Morton he looked sound in defence, looked for work up the middle and performed very well overall.
