However, IF we are safe before the London game and WE field a "reserve" squad, allowing London 2 points and SL security, meaning that Leeds or KR go down, there would be brown stuff hitting the fan at a rate of knots.
There should be some integrity in the game and Saints' actions are not within the spirit of the game, not by a long chalk.
I get Sacred Cows point that they can do as they please and treat this game as an opportunity to test their youngsters but, equally, it cant be right for ANY side to effectively "throw" a game.
Mind you, in recent weeks, we have made it just as easy for the opposition to get the 2 league points
Spot on

At the risk of repeating myself they handed London 2 points today. If they do the same against us in a couple of weeks and all the other teams in the relegation battle then fair enough. But they won't. It stinks'"
Coote, Makinson, Percival, Naiqama, Fages, Lomax, Walmsley, Roby, Thompson, Taia, Peyroux. Paulo was out of position too. Only Grace, LMS, Lees, Knowles, Amor and Paulo are first teamers today
I’m sure they could argue that playing Saints 3 times stinks in the first place

There are 5 teams fighting relegation and this is the second time they have done this against London. Basically handing them a 4 point advantage.'"
So what there are 5 teams fighting for relegation!
Do you think there should only be one or a couple of teams fighting it out?
You shouldn't be in this situation as the majority of you thought a top 5 spot was a walk in pre-season.

| Am I right in thinking that in the early days of Ferguson's tenure at Man Ure, weren't they severely punished for deliberately fielding a much weakened side prior to an important cup game? I suppose Saints current status could be compared to theirs.

Am i right in thinking that this has nothing to do with Saints but Wakefield not winning enough matches?

Yes you are correct. With Hull KR and London still to play, we will only have ourselves to blame if we go down

If Wakefield were ten points clear in the league, and in a CC semi final, would you suggest that Chester picks his team according to what's fair on everyone else?
Saints have suited themselves. Why you think they have obligations to any other club bar thwr own is beyond me.

It's called 'clutching at straws'.
Point the finger at someone else, don't agree with Bigboff at all but he's bang on.

| Don’t blame Saints, blame the RFL.
The fact a team can make so many changes without facing any sanctions is a joke and casts a massive shadow on the integrity of the competition.
The only thing I’d question Saints about is why in 23 games, they’ve chosen to field severely weakened teams against the same opponent twice?
