| Played some good stuff at times and at 30-4 with a quarter to go I was predicting a rout but we were just forcing it a bit too much. Will definitely need to cut out the cheap penalties against Cas on Good Friday. Can't afford to piggy them up the field.

| In great position after tonights game, with 2 very tough games coming up.
Chester will need to be clever with his squad over the next few weeks and rotate a few players.
Grix again superb, Johnstone pure class and Fifita unplayable at times and a great foil for Huby's try.
Very happy, plenty to work on but Cas, at their place is a huge ask and a great test to see just how good Trinity are this season.
On a side note, the win against Salford a few weeks ago looks very good now.
I cant believe just how well they are doing

| Yes, will need to be smarter at times though against Cas.
That said, I watched the game last night, and Cas coughed up a lot of possession in their own half in first half hour or so.
Had Wigan have punished those early errors, it could have been a different story.
Could be a good game next werk but need to pressurize and close their halves

| If I had one change I could make, even though we are doing well, is putting Finn back to main place kicker.

I agree, Finn won us several games last year through his excellent kicking even though we were behind on the try count. Williams is the opposite and could easily cost us close games with his poor kicking. I actually think it's a confidence thing, not a lack of ability. I'd certainly have Finn kicking against Cas because we'll need every point we can muster against them

Agree but I think the idea going in this year, is with Finny playing hooker a fair amount and not on the field as much. Let Williams have the chance to get better and better with the conversions as he went on. Otherwise it would be Williams kicking some and then when Finn comes on he takes over, which before the season started isn't the best for either imo. Saying that it's obvious atm Finny is the better kicker and if they're both in the halves he shoud be the man to take them.
Anyway great win for the lads on what could have been a potential banan skin but we did most things right. Got off to a decent start, defended really well and played some attractive footbal at timesl. A few silly penalties and we could maybe of been a bit more clinical if I'm looking forward to the games ahead. Hadley was excellent and Fifita did a monster first stint and came back on in the 2nd half and created a try almost straighht away. Tom was good as usual, as was Grix & Huby, infact everyone did their job tonight.
