Dont need solo or mason as we have players that are doing a great job in those positions.If you are going to sign players for positions that are well covered you have to bring a better stamp of player in otherwise whats the point.

Could he not be used as an impact prop? He certainly has the size.

Also, not sure how we could fit him under the quota or is he another with some sort of dispensation?

I would have mixed feelings about this one if true. Certainly one of the best ball handling forwards in SL and with him and Ali we would have some real threat in attack, but he has been a bit injury prone at Warrington and would be an expensive player to have if he was spending alot of time on the treatment table

Just had a look and Solo classed as -Federation trained (Dispensation) same as Lauititi

Interesting one then. Based on past rumours about him not being too enthusiastic about training, if he did come back would be interesting to see what programme Clogger would have him on

if Solomona and Mason are coming I'd make sure that David's contract had a clause that he had to get down to a certain weight, we can't carry him of his pay just as a impact player.
Mason will add some grunt so no probs with him as long as he keeps the silly penalties out

No to solomona, I'd rather remember him as the best player I've seen pull on a Wakey shirt than as a crock coming for a final payday. Mason for sure though, be a good bloke to have about the place.

I have a different view on the last part. But willing to give him a chance if he signs up.

Solo is the best forward we've had in the superleague era, can't see him coming back though

Solomona would have to be a basic contract with appearance money for me. He also needs to loose some of the weight he has piled on since leaving us. This season he has made only a few appearences due to the injury sustained in australia pre season however he would need to show he is fully recovered before id sign him. He could be a impact of the bench kinda player but only if he can stay fit and looking at the last couple of season its a big IF.

I wouldnt want mason to be honest he's a penalty machine and his go forward is no better than the players we currently have would add nothing to the squad tbh.
