I’m not sure he has. It was a strong rumour but even with Smithies going to the NRL Wigan are still loaded with forwards for next year although they are expected to make 1 more signing so it’s a possibility.
Saints seem very confident they hand him.
Think with the age of Saints pack for his own development that would be the best move for him. |

Heard a few saying it was sorted earlier in the season and this came directly from Carter (or close friends of).
He definitely went to look at Saints set up in the last months which would seem odd if he had already signed for Wigan.
If he has gone to Wigan I’d expect him to be back on loan with Trinity for the 24 season. |

Don’t understand the logic in that really
Why bother going if we’re remaining full time and he’s coming back to us on loan?
I wouldn’t imagine Wigan would offer him a lot more than he’d be on with us, and who knows he may end up playing SL with us? |

That would be the best scenario if true season loan for 2024 and a fee.
A loss long term but a help for the 2024 push in the league to try get maximum img performance points.

I personally think he will go to Saints, but were he to go to Wigan they have 2 props off contract (Cooper and Mago) at the end of 2024 and Havard is attracting a lot of NRL interest.
Cooper I’m sure will retire Mago move on.
If they secure a prospect like Eseh he would be ideal to be sent out on loan with a view to bring in contention for 2025. |

Time will tell. I was hoping he’d stay I think he has a big future. |

Cant disagree with either comment.
We do need the experienced players in the here and now, but at the same time we also need players in their prime.
Its very true that older players arw more suspect to injury and take longer to recover |
