You should be proud of what you've done for those lads whatever - top man in my book
im looking forward to seeing it tbh although im on nights tonight but ill certainly be dragging myself out of bed for this one.ive made some good friends both with crigglestone and east hull and ill be very happy for whoever wins the game.
its the friends you make in this game that make coaching worthwhile, i only wish that the people who you coach for could sometimes see how much effort and time all free of charge goes into turning a side out for an hour on a sat morning.
i dont think anyone would get involved with coaching if they knew what it entailed before you started but for every rotten egg in the basket there are plenty of good ones.

| Absolutely hit the nail on the head with that .... you could write a book on what's involved ... but there ya go . I've said many a time that the rugby fairy's have obviously been and sorted stuff out when no one else has volunteered ..... but don't get me going now , tomorrow to worry about yet !

mutts with all due respect there never was any prizes for the mini league season neither was their ever going to be promotion and relegation at the end of it,the yj were just viewing the results has a guide to where teams need to be for the start of march then it will be the real deal.
expect to see 4 groups of 10 or 3 groups of 12 dependant on how many teams enter the summer league so i guess you will see the likes of stanley, shaw cross, oulton raiders and heworth joining the 6 sides that have played the mini season.
Ahem! My team are Oulton Vikings, not raiders, we're in 2 raiders in 3.

| A superb win for Stanley Rangers Reds U13's this afternoon, against top of the table rivals East Leeds; not sure of final score, but 44-6 rings a bell.
Bit of a saga to get the game on after a cancellation yesterday due to a frozen pitch, but the lads deserved their 'cup final', so credit to the coach and liaison officer for pulling it out of the bag.
The lads have come a long way in a short time under a fantastic coach; today's win should put them top of the table for the short season, even after forfeiting 2 early season games due to a shortage of players.
Well done Clan

Thanks Bren it's been a pleasure and very rewarding.
Today's score was 56-8
Won the league despite playing less games than everyone and 3 less than half of the other teams in the division.

| cas acadamy yr7 boys booked there place in the yorkshire cup q-finals with there 7th win on the bounce winning 46-0 against tong of bradford, they are really starting to look like a team now and with a few players missing through injury they showed they have real strength in depth.
