Exactly the same age and to be honest the same case. Bibey is one of the most under rated forwards we have ever had at BV, had he had an Aussie accent some on here would be calling him a legend.

| Quote: Prince Buster "Ryan Bailey is nothing more than a journey man who is now reaching the end of his career. If we sign him he would probably see it has his last season. He would probably be more than happy to come to us for one last pay day but surely no one expects him to do any other than go through the motions and sit out long spells of injury. If we do sign him then it shows we are either gullible, desperate or both.'"
And you know this how, you've spent to long talking to Belly
Personally think you're wrong but for now it's speculative but for me if he dons the RW&B all is forgiven and he's a superstar in my book.

Agreed - always made the hard yards, always a starting prop, very rare did you see him fall on his ass.
Took the ball up, made his yards, fell on his belly and a quick play the ball.
Very underrated.

It is "Fifita" not "Fafita"
If you don't know the difference between "there", "their" and "they're" I might get annoyed.
Sharing First World problems so you can get it right first time.

| I'm also a Dwyer fan. I think he would be a good fit for us, young and hungry.

| Unfortunately I think Dwyer is beyond a club like us. I would be delighted if we signed him but doubt we would be able to convince him against offers from elsewhere

| Not only young and hungry, but also British, and a better option than Kyle Wood, and hookers out of the championship.
Also, being British, should Fifita definately leave us, that would still leave us with a quota spot for us to bring in another prop.
I would happily start with him, and then having Moules and Finn as back up

| The top 4 SL sides, Wigan, Warington, Saints and Hull all have decent 9's already in their squad, with other decent ones as back up, and if he moved to one of these would probably struggle to get a great deal of game time.
At 23 years old would probably want to kick on in his career and get more game time under his belt I would think.

| This is never going to happen, he turned down an extension at Warrington because they didn't offer enough money. This suggests he is confident in his ability and wants paying for it, which is not something we do. I expect like all the other decent players named on here, he will either stay at his current club or look to move to the NRL but definitely not come to us.

That's utter rubbish, we paid Kirmond a fortune to stay and Tim Smith and plenty of other players through the years - I'll conceed w don't pay as many big money as other clubs but I think the reason for that is obviois even to you.
I reckon we could pay him what he wants all day long, the problem is that if he's also ambitious we cant offer what other clubs can and that is the reason he won't join us.
It's yet another great Trinity myth that we don't pay we just don't attract and MC, CC and JK have my full sypathies there - selling our club to decent players from bigger clubs must be like selling meat pies to vegetarians but I'm sure you could do better.

Or that they were being tight with their offer ?
Clarke will be on plenty, considering the fee that they paid Cas for his services and they have plenty of other heavy earners there as well.
Some of the big clubs use their status as a reason not to pay big money to their younger players but, the promise of glory can compensate for this.
Obviously none of us know what Dwyer is being paid but IF he came to us as first choice no 9, that may be a better contract than a second choice at another club ?

That sounds very possible and familiar wrencat, if Dwyer was to come he would be a good addition allways looked hungry when got his chance at Wire.

| No we dont know what has been offered.
We also dont know what offer Scott Moore was offered. Despite his off field problems he is a very experienced player in a pivotal role and could be on a decent contract.
At the end of the day this would be a replacement and not an addition.
It could come down to us offering a good deal to capture him

I would suspect that if Moore can afford a "Mercedes sports car" then I'm sure Dwyer would take the same.
