Scott is a centre. No question.
Just like Hall, who has played second row too.
And I reckon Scott is faster than Hall
I watched Hull fc a number of times last season where Scott played second row and he was very good and Hulls best player at second row. I thought that’s where he would play for us. Scott in pre season looked good at centre but he hasn’t quite found that level in the season yet for me. I’m hoping there’s more to come from him and I’m sure there will be. |

He was asked the question at one of the Shardholder meetings and he was pretty clear about it.
Before his injury he looked pretty unstoppable.
I don't think Lino, Storton, Scott and Walmsley have played together since.

He was asked the question at one of the Shardholder meetings and he was pretty clear about it.
Before his injury he looked pretty unstoppable.
I don't think Lino, Storton, Scott and Walmsley have played together since.
He is a centre yes and I’m certainly not questioning that but it is good to have him as a second row option and he’s very good there. He’s quite a big lad which helps. He did look unstoppable in pre season and I’m hoping we see that again soon in the season. He’s been taking more carries out of deep in our half than on the front foot though lately. It’s a shame Storton ended up injured because that right edge with Storton, Scott and Lino looked dangerous like you say. We may see that though second half of season. |

Even with Storton out we?re pretty well stocked with second rowers
Vangana, Nikotimo, Griffin & Croft.
We don?t need to start putting Scott down as a back rower. As for his form he?s been back for 3 games and will just about be getting his match fitness and timing back. Since his return from a lengthy injury he?s been playing in a team with changing half backs and the 2nd choice fullback, so the slickness of our expansive game has been off.

They also mentioned how he'd made a quick comment on Trueman hopefully being good for Magic, but he didn't go into details. |

As expected really. Hopefully Matty Russell back this week. Rodwell we can cover as we have 4 perfectly good props in Mckmeeken, Uele, Atoni and Faatilli. Seth we can cover with Vagana and potentially Croft. Again though the concern will be 6. It looks like a loan or bringing someone in isn?t an option. Is shift Pitts back to 13 this week and have Cozza come on from bench. I?d probably rather see Roarke get a go as a running 6 unless Stevenson is in there. Hopefully we find a way to share the kicking duties out more. Maybe bring Max in and put some grubbers through the line towards the sticks and left edges to look for Johnstone and Pratt. I think the forwards will be important in getting us on the front foot hopefully giving the edges space to work with. If Pitts returns to 13 then we can at least see the link up return from Lino > Pitts > Jowitt. Would be brill to win this and be sitting in top 6 with Cas at magic to get into top 4! As mentioned Cats have played Salford twice and Hudds last few games. I?d like to think we will be much sterner opposition for them when we rock up Saturday ready to hopefully take 2 points. |

A lot been said about our depth this year and it?s true we?ve been able to cover all the injuries with some quality replacements, all that is apart from the half back crisis where we?ve not only lost the first choice but the second and third.
It?s also been brought up about the number of players we actually have missing from the starting 13. It?s probably not a true reflection to say it?s in double figures, more like 5 or 6. But even that?s up for debate because who, apart from Powell & Shenton, can actually say what our starting 13 is?
So I?ll have a guess:

If we had to field that second choice team, whilst obviously a bit weaker, I?d still be pretty positive which is testimony to our strong recruitment over the last 18 months
