Coach after Coach have the same issues at Hull, it clearly isn't a just down to them. Any prospective target will look at that and be cautious unless there are some massive changes within the club. Powell got bit last years with a bit of a toxic environment in his mind, he won't do that again in a hurry. Shenton is too early in his career and he seems like a sensible bloke not to push for a head coach position before he's ready.

Yes. Powell is at the beginning of a project he's enjoying and being rewarded for.
There's no logic for him to go there.
If he does the job right we'll be in that position next year anyway.
