Been a standout for Whitehaven this season, who are currently 7th at the moment.
Think that could be a very shrewd signing for you guys.

| How many coaches survived the years of famine to be replaced by one which resulted in the more successful season.

No, it doesn't prove the point at all. McNally went from hero to zero in two seasons. Jk was good then he was not then he was not. Ditto Agar.
Are you saying they are all poor coaches?
It's not the coach who dipped it's the team. CC, JK, and Agar all found a formula but none could maintain it.
The way to avoid that is not to sack the coach but to refresh and improve the team on a yearly basis. And that my friend is the issue and the one nobody can solve and one that cannot be addressed by sacking the coach.
Two perfect examples.
Fifita and Kirmond. Two players, we looked like we could build a team around for a few seasons. Problem? They both cost us so much to keep we couldn't add any other quality players or certainly not enough. Then there are injuries, that's a whole different ballgame and affects all clubs. Problem is? When Fifita and Kirmond got injured we simply didn't have the players to cope or the money to bring in reinforcements. When Warrington has this problem they reach for the checkbook.
What size cheques do you think CC has to cash.
You and a few others live in a fantasy world, I'd just love to see how you would cope if you had to make the decision, You, I'd give about three weeks before you had a meltdown. Tends to be the way with moaners.
We are fortunate we can pay the players we have. all we can do is support them and the club.

| What you are saying is that the club paid too much to two players which means they had none left to improve the squad. We now know the problems of the club and coach rests with two players what a relief I thought it was much more complicated. I suppose you could email your new friend and tell him what he did wrong so he does not make the same mistake again.
What a load of tosh when we first came into SL we received no funding other than from the championship clubs. We put together a team made up from our championship squad plus a few fringe players and antipodean journey men. What we did have was A Kelly who the players admired and wanted to play for. We may not have been the best but we went into each game knowing we might not win but definitely knew we would try right to the end. The end result was that we survived so money isn’t everything but creating a team that wants to play for each other and be fully motivated is and having a game plan.
We could look back at the Salford team who invested heavily in so called star players but this failed because they played like individuals and not as a team, so money isn’t everything.

Simple questions.
Have you ever run a pro RL club? If not how do you know what you claim to know? You don't, you're so full of poop I can smell it from here.
How do you know the players don't admire CC? You don't, as ever you're just guessing to suit your sour agenda.
If they admired AK so much then why did they get him sacked, what a ridiculous man you are at times.
The only person talking tosh is you, You are an armchair expert who's never seen the club's balance sheet, never been involved with the current team at any level. You have no idea as to the long-term plans and aims of the club. In other words, you know nothing and I don't need to e-mail Michael Carter to work that one out.
Whatever flaws exist in the abilities of both MC and CC, when compared to you they are a lion to a flea, in fact not even a flea but a flea bite. Get a life and stop pretending you have any idea as to what's going on behind the scenes, you don't.
The only way you could impress me or make me change my opinion of you is if you were to buy the club and then run it to the standards you require and by doing so visibly improve the club. So what's stopping you? Put your money where your mouth is, I believe it's still available for a pound.

| After Kear, McNally has been the best coach we've had, he had a 'leader' as captain in Ellis but unfortunately Gareth outgrew the club.
When we sold Gareth we never replaced him and got bent over by Julian O'Neill, who used us as a way to get back to Widnes, this was unfortunately McNally's demise.
Special mention also goes to John Harbin, he'd get these players playing.

| No vastman what i am saying and somthing you rather unknowing made my point for me is that coaches come and do well and then they decline .you clearly pointed out our good and bad seasons which shows majority of the good times is when we had a relatively new coach and the worse times when these coaches have been in place a while and your post proved(not though you will admit) i am not for 1 minute saying they are poor coaches havent even said cc is i say they come to end of there life spam at that club.for me like many others CC is now at that point and however you look at it results prove it. As for money yes we dont have a big cheque bookbut neither did he in 2017 or did kear etc etc thats why you have to spend the money wisley and over the last 2 season think its fair to say this happened for what ever reason.

That is the problem C C as not had a lot of money to spend ,but he as waisted most of it by buying players for possions we did not need to strengthen ,and worse than the players that were in that passion .As for fans who say no Coach could do any better with the squad we got good job B Smith did not have that attitude when he came in He kicked out the players he did not want,, and replaced with players he though could do a better job Did this in less than half a season .and for any player in is team that was not quite were he wanted them to be he helped them by making us one of the fittest teams in S L

The standard reply from those who lose the argument why don’t you take over the club. I would remind you it was your post that stated we spent too much on two players and no I have not seen the accounts, I doubt any of us not even you have. I don’t know what’s going on at the club but I do know how our performances are on the field. The club could be run like a Swiss watch but if the product they are trying to sell is failing nothing would save the business even relying on a band of loyal customers.
I actually think it’s quite amusing that you believe we have a long term plan what do you base that assumption on because I have not noticed one.
I won’t resort to insults, I leave that to you because it proves you are just trying to deflect from the obvious failures.

Your first two or three lines sum up perfectly how we spend our money and in sure Walmsley at Whitehaven is a quality player but do we need another fullback/winger, who will also take up a quota spot?
If recent dealings are anything to go by, he's nailed on to be a Wakey player next season.

it's not the standard reply it's the obvious reply. It's an obvious reply because it's true and as old Jack says, you can't handle the truth.

Wouldn't be a quota player Scottish heritage came to play for haven to get in Scotlands World Cup squad . Watch YouTube highlights of him quite impressive. Played for South Sydney and Newcastle knight's academy's

| The truth is we are a business and probably a well run one I don’t know. The problem is we are in the entertainment sector and I will state it again the product we produce is faulty because the designer no longer knows what to do so the appeal to the customer drops so reducing the business revenue. It is like many brands in that it will have its loyal customers who are willing to overlook the shortcomings of the product. These are however not enough to see a profitable business so most will look to replace the designer rather than the parts which he puts together in the hope of producing a better and more saleable product.
I am afraid the truth is obvious to me but apparently not you. I will give you a quote “There are none so blind as those who will not see”

Fair enough but I still don't think we need a fullback/winger, our needs are greater elsewhere.
