Agreed. I would like him to stay, his versatility is a major benefit from a budget point of view, plus I think he has been one of our best players this season

At best we need cover for the half back positions because unless I am mistaken without Hampshire I don’t know who will cover either of these positions currently. We must also take into consideration the age of Brough and how reckless and with little regard for his own safety Miller can be both in attack and defence.

We can and we will, I don’t think there is any real option there. With that in mind we need to rebuild the team and re-jig our game plan to make it work. It doesn’t matter what we think of the current partnership it’s here to stay for at least another season so as I say the only other option is to tinker with the rest of the team.

I’m kind of with you tbh but it’s worth noting that up until both Brough and Miller got injured in the same game they were probably the most in form partnership in SL. So maybe it was key injuries to other players after this that caused their decline and with a full squad they can get back to where they were, let’s hope so.

Friday should have been the decider of the Rocky saga - we need him for next season; I'm even prepared to overlook him telling my son to eff off on Saturday night in response to "well played Rocky lad."

He has proven beyond any doubt that he's a tremendous utility player - wherever he plays, he's heavily involved in everything we do that's any good.

I'm not especially d about it and neither is he - it was a walk-by "well played Rocky lad" in a crowded bar, late on a Saturday night; could have been misheard, misinterpreted or clouded by booze. He thought it was funny - I found the 2am text to tell me about it significantly less funny, since I was fast asleep like a responsible adult.

We've decided that if he stays and plays like that for us every week, he will volunteer to be verbally abused whenever necessary.
