| Great news... Good grief Justin Poore must have been on a lot of money as since we've sold him we seem to be bringing in a number of players? I'm happy as long as we don't over stretch ourselves financially again.

| I'm assuming they're gonna be relatively cheap options, maybe younger players, we can't afford three more relatively good quality signings...Can we?

| I'm pretty sure the pack is complete. It's got some size and quite a bit of depth which I hadn't thought we'd have a few weeks ago. Think I'd go:
Anderson
McShane
Raleigh
Tautai
Kirmond
Ryan
With a bench of:
Moore
Ali
Wildie
D Smith
I'm just thinking that we need some size and grunt up front and although good in defence, washbrook didn't bring enough last season.

| Trout, Anakin and Walshaw should be ahead of Tautai and Smith in the pecking order.

| IMHO Kyle is too small and gets run over by bigger people too easily. Not seen enough of walshaw but a case could be made for Annakin. Think they suffered from no development when kear was head coach. I'm sure they will get opportunities when injuries arrive

Kyle is atleast 6ft 2 tall and he played games not knowing where hed be played - you need to prepare your body in different ways for different positions.
Annakin would be better than Washbrook at Loose Forward however does the 'little things' correctly.
Tautai would get the call before D Smith and Walshaw in my opinion, if he can cut out the errors which he forces upon himself. He is a very strong guy and has pace behind him he just trys too much and makes an error.

| Tautai is a proven NRL standard player who like a trout and Annakin need to be told what position they will be expected to play. Tautai should be looking at starting second row with Kirmond with Ali coming off the bench. Annakin should be pushing for 13 with Ryan and Washbrook. Trout should be pushing for second row. I bet Trout in reality is about 5 foot 11 and 15 stone which isn't a problem for a mobile second row.

Trout is definitely 6ft 2 - there is no doubt about that.

I think that's generous however he's certainly a 6 footer. Strange how some players look bigger than they are and others smaller. Paul Johnson was the same, he was referred to as a midget on here.
TBH if they play big then they are big.
I give you the legend that is Nigel Bell - 5'8" max and about 15 stone in later years and too small to be a prop - step forward Nigel Bell easily one of the best props we have had at Trinity in the last 30 years.
Size helps butit's not the be all and end all, if Trouts learn technique and has the heart he will be whatever he wants to be.
