| Yep I’d be happy enough with that too Avenger. Though I think Nikotemo has to play as he’s supposedly fit.

| At the risk of sounding like a broken record I wouldn’t even consider moving Pitts when we have our 1st choice spine pretty much available possibly. Makes even less sense when we have others who can play prop their as well. Powell was discussing options but he also mentioned Cozza and that’s who I think he will go with.
My team would be:
Jowitt Walmsley Hall Pratt Johnstone Trueman Lino Mckmeeken Hood Faatili Scott Griffin Pitts
Smith Vagana Cozza Croft
I’d be tempted to swap Scott/Croft and would be fine with either at second row.
I didn’t put Nikotemo in as he looked to be struggling on inside trinity last weekend but if he does play he will go second row and I would be tempted to swap Scott into centre over Hall. I think the team more or less picks itself.

| I wouldn't put Scott in SR if Croft is fit. Earlier in the season he was actually the form SR.
Scott is effective at centre. I'd rather just keep him there.
If Nikotemo isn't playing.....though I'm sure painkillers can get him on the field...then I'd have Hall on the bench.
Cas have a weakness at SR so big runners will help us

| Would it be worth giving young Lingard a run ?He has some size, doesn't back away in defence an he would bring some energy and enthusiasm too. I accept that he's still very young but, he could certainly do a job.

Would be a strange decision to dose a player up with painkillers to get him on the field if he`s not fit to play, fair enough if it was a final or something but it`s just another SL game and it`s not like we don`t have other good options in the second row. When I watched Scott at Hull he seemed to play his better rugby in the second row, but for me I do agree with you on going with Croft, he`s never let us down when playing there.

Done the pain killers job with a few of our players over the years Finished Tupo of as a player ,and the way they treeted B Dave was a disgrace Keep well away

I can see Lingard making the bench Sunday, think Powell rates him higher than Shaw
