Its not a cas of encouraging players to leave but i started the thread as all players when you start a career have ambitions and if you become a big fish in a little pond with a lesser chance of winning things and you have the capability of winning things especially in the nrl at a bigger club whats wrong with giving it a go could you imagine the response to his first try if it was repeated in nrl andrew voss may even be lost for words

yes he is and he should look elsewhere to a big club or the NRL - otherwise he will waste his carrer in the doldrums of super league finishing 10 th or 11th every year

Isn't this what will happen if we keep unearthing a gem then selling it on to the highest bidder. The more of these gems we unearth and the more that stick with us, the more chance we have of reaching the heights again. Good on Tom for showing loyalty to Wakefield Trinity instead of chasing the brass.

Watched a video on you know where called Tom Johnstone - The Finisher. Will never get tired of watching it.

Thought I posted this earlier but Martin Offiah was praising Tom on Twitter recently, personally I think we are all very lucky to be watching TJ so just enjoy him whilst he's with us. Fingers crossed it's for another 5+ years!

I think if the general consensus is that Tom is too good for Wakey he should move. If he did that, the next step should`nt be in this country, or if he was to stay here not in this type of Rugby. We can all speculate about his future but until Tom makes that choice we should appreciate what an excellent talent we have playing in a Wakey shirt, a once in a generation player who can get bums on seats and people talking.

If the club was made of money Tom would be made our marquee signing I’m sure ,unfortunately at this moment in time we aren’t but what Tom gets at our club is being the big fish in a little pond and apart from his injuries this has never stopped him playing for his country and I really can’t see it stopping him this time around .
