This might not be PC on here but I reckon Cas have been something of an inspiration for the Trinity revival and one in the eye for those wanting to rid Super League of "the likes of Cas and Wakey"

I don't think many would argue with that mate. Look where they were a few years ago, selling players, not performing, needing their chairman's' money to stay off the creditors, wanting rid of their Coach. Then they got DP, who's brought in a new attitude, belief and structure to their play and what a transformation. So seeing what they've done the past couple of years, we all knew if we could just replicate some of what they've got right, it might just work out for us also.

| Not had much chance to say this yet but a very good effort by the lads.
I thought they were all outstanding and in particular Miller and BJB who both had their best games for the club.
They seem to be growing in confidence week by week and so am I. There is every chance we could make the top 4.
There is something very special been steadily built by the club.
Well done everyone concerned.

| It's hard to believe that most Trin fans (including myself) were happy if we just avoided the MPG this season.
We are currently in dream land and if we can maintain form and confidence, who knows what could happen this season.
It's getting hard no to dream of bigger things here and it's time that the Wakefield public really got behind the club and enjoyed
the great things that are happening.
Going into the latest group of fixtures (Wire, Catalan, Salford and KR), 4 points wouldn't have been a bad return and having taken the
points from the "most difficult" opponents, we could actually get the maximum.
Keep it up Trin, you are doing us proud !

| Yesterday's game was the first time I thought we had something really good going on. We played underperforming sides in Leeds and Hudds, a Wigan that was suffering for some reason, and a Warrington that didn't get going in the first half. After the Catalan game, perhaps I misread those earlier doubts, because Catalan played well. Yes, we were helped out a lot by Pat Richards's unusually bad day with his boot, but they played very well with a big big side, and we hung in there.
I thought the ref was okay on the whole, and I quite like him, but yes, one or two bad calls, like the lifting penalty. He was no worse than some of the other refs though.

| I keep pinching myself and wonder when this bubble will burst. I'm so used to our various false dawns, moments of magic then crashing to earth with a bang. Yet this fabulous run keeps on going and the player belief but not over confidence continues.
I still can't get the image of that drop goal out of my head. Amazing.
Great times to be a Trin fan especially after all the pain of last season.

| I did miss the rivalry associated with the Cas game though, especially watching the biff during the Hull derby.

Pointing out a player is not playing well is not detracting it's telling the truth. I don't hold with scapegoating but that's a different issue. BJB was not playing well, now he is.
Tom Johnstone got a wake up call yesterday. I'm one of his biggest fans but he was blown away on occasions yesterday - he needs to learn from it and correct things, not a huge issue he's only 20 but it still needs pointing out. Am I detracting from Tom or am I just pointing out the obvious. He's still a great young prospect and he's one of our own.
Thought things picked up for Tom defensively When Tupou replaced Hall.

I thought that too - both he and Jowitt seemed uncharacteristically hesitant; big occasion for a young lad at the start of his career, and I guess that Les Cats are an intimidating prospect with their size and strike power and willingness to get grubby. They'll learn a lot from it though - and that's the point.
