With all the rain Friday would not have been a game for Sammut. I personally would have played the same team that Webster did but picked Sammut ahead of Mathers, however with the conditions I am please webster picked the team he did.

Don't think he's wrong actually. It's been hard to be positive recently and moaning has been more than justified and needed. However your comments about Webster especially are utterly ridiculous based on one game played in atrocious conditions. You and Belly and a few others need to actually start supporting the club faults and all rather than just battering them to death on every little thing rather than taking what seems a perverse pleasure in knocking the club at every chance. At least be constructive with your criticism, some of your points seem fair but seem laced with vindictiveness.

We all know the club and team are still in a bit of a mess but being negative about absolutely everything, how does that help - I assume you want to help?

And I'm sure you'll get them, but given that he works as a volunteer, it's beyond the pale to demand his immediate explanation when the youth sides get beat; as for a discussion about the 1873 scheme - try asking a paid member of staff - I fail to see what responsibility a volunteer coach has for that. I don't remember by the way, any guarantee when I signed up to the 1873 scheme, that the U19's and U16's would win every game as a result; do you?

And it wasn't a ridiculous comment - there was a barely concealed vitriol in your original comment and no amount of back-pedalling will change that.

So now its VINDICTIVENESS to have an opinion , its time to stop posting on here as some who actually watch the 16s .19s and first Team for entertainment and pleaser are not allowed their views, seems to be two or three posters are determined to get rid of as many as they can,

It's a matter of complete indifference to me whether you post or not; but so long as you do, you'll have to live with people disagreeing - that's the point of a forum.

Vic, a couple of gentle pieces of advice. Not telling you that you have to, just advice from me personally.

1) If you want to start a genuine discussion on the 16s and 19s, don't start it on a discussion about Sammut. No one will notice and you will not get the discussion you want
2) When you call someone out by name, I would suggest you are going to be accused of picking on them, as, you called them out by name. That isn't opinion.
I like Clan's opinion, even though I don't always agree. But goading him to comment is hardly the best way to get a good response.

And just as an extra. If you think of something to post that you like, it may help people understand when you have things you don't like.

You don't have to. As long as you follow the AUP you can post what you like. People who disagree with you have to live with it.......but that applies to you too.
