Ok lads on a serious note if you read my comments on your site after the game I did say it was good to get some biff on the pitch and I actually hope your man does well this year. I for one would not have sent him off it would have made the game interesting.
As for the term town yes you are right it is a city and I lived there for a good few years, my daughter was born at manygates.

Wakefield is a city in its own right, size is not important to me or many others, it seems to you and a few other Leeds fans that it does.

Wakefield is a decent sized city. Leeds has areas that would give the slums of south africa a good run for their money. Honestly say wakefield hasnt got areas like that. Proud of OUR city.

I suggest you take 5 minutes out and read this. It might just open your blinkered big city eyes.

If there is one thing i cant stand, it`s `Wakefield Rhinos`. Proud of this great city where i was born and raised and i wouldent change it for the world. One thing Wakefield has that leeds does not, Soul. Heres to 2013 ... Year of the Wildcat

Not so sure your "city" has any soul left tbh which is a real shame.
Most of the people I know who live in Wakefield come to Leedsto enjoy themselves.

Who is most, I rather go round Wakefield and if I wanted to go some where diffrent Manchester/London/Sheffield much better night out..

Wakefields been a City longer than Leeds and securing that status was as much to do with Wakefield being the Administrative Centre for Yorkshire as it is to do with one of the countries most magnificent Cathedrals (something Leeds doesn't have).

I wouldn't consider Leeds for a night out for a single minute and would rather go to Manchester, Newcastle or Birmingham.

Wakefield city centre is fairly embarrassing what with all the goths, kosovans and Jeremy Kyle issue Brits.
But at least we aren't responsible for Jimmy Saville!!

It's time like this you remind yourself how fortunate you are that i was born, raised and reside in Wakefield. As was my father and his mother who are or were all WT fans. I don't care for cups, trophies, accolades, i attend because i grew up on those terraces with those fans who are the best in SL.

Thankfully, i wasn't born in Leeds otherwise i fear i'd not have enjoyed my RL and doubt i'd have shared the terraces with some of those big city wigs.
