Quote: jungle man "I am truely sorry for your plight and I really want Wakefield in the top flight and I said the same to fans that I spoke to on Saturday. But do you truely believe what you are saying?, because I can't. Are you seriously saying that Wakey would get the nod over Cas at this current moment in time, if so on what grounds?????. Most of your team are going/gone (Obst and Fegurson plus Murphy next) and the financial situation is still up in the air. Our plans are waiting final approval and are on WDC planning website for all to see. Like I said I would love this mess to sort itself out but I think you have made the RFL's mind up for them already.'"

Before we start let me say I don't think we are in a better position than you.

However, until your building begins we are all still likely to think that you can't afford to do it, otherwise it would have been built (or at least started) 2 years ago.

I've got some plans in my house for a 6 bedroom mansion with games room and cinema but until I can find the money to build it they are not worth anything.

I think before the administration we could have competed reasonably with you on the bid front, as we would have been basing our bid on a Superleague standard stadium and would compare reasonably well with you on all other aspects (Cas better on some, Wakey better on some). Your bid presumably is going to be based on playing at the Jungle till Glasshoughton is ready so not a "Superleague standard" stadium.

"how do you make this out....where is the evidence....talking a load of tosh as usual, "

......load of tosh ??? I think you'll find that when the PI gets the green light we should be in by mid-late 2013.

Good luck with Xscape icon_rolleyes.gif

Quote: BIGAL1 "I find myself thinking, what if another club went bust or neither Cas or Salford built stadiums.

And then i remember that its just not right to think like that. Is this what the games coming to, no longer concerned what happens on the pitch.

Don't like myself very much tbh.'"

I read this post and thread shaking my head to be honest, when Dewsbury and hunslet won the grand final on the FIELD the big movers to stop them going up were Wakefield, that just after the same clubs had agreed to let you have thousands of pounds as the super league clubs wernt letting you have any. You were also 1 of the clubs that voted to accept the disgraceful licence system. My club Rovers voted against, we were also booted out of the top flight for Paris, ow we kicked a stink up but no one listened, we kicked up a stink about the licence system and again no one listened in fact Wakey and there fans were one of the clubs that didnt listen, guess what no one will listen to you now. I have in the past read the mocking posts and threads about Rovers crowds compared to Wakeys, anyone fancy a wager we will hammer you into the ground as far as attendances go next season when were both in the same division, thats if your lucky, i also predicted last year you would end up in the championship playing from post office road in front of crowds in the hundreds, watch this space

Pander to the lower leagues, what planet are you on man, because very soon you will be the lower league, and if the rfl did take the best 14 applicants you can bet your life Wakey would not be in, and neither would some of the other self elected elite

What do you mean 'there fans were one of the clubs that didnt listen', I think you'll find there was hardly any fans in support of the franchise system, which as probably been mentioned 1000's of times and what exactly did you expect Wakey's fans to do for you, as you can see the club doesn't hold much clout at Red Hall. I've just read your post shaking my head, so where alright.

Had the Rovers board voted to accept the licence desision there would have been uproar. Did any Wakey supporters group challenge your boards decision to vote the way they did or were they happy with it ?

So you didnt vote to not let Dewsbury and hunslet in super league then after they had won the right on the FIELD.
A lot of championship teams have the same view as me like it or not

Look what's happening at the club, if we were a set of supporters who challenged the board we wouldn't be here now probably.
Mate,I don't think this is the time to join a forum just to start having a go at all the Wakey fans, go around some of the other SL teams if you have a problem.

Not again!

Fact!
Dewsbury never applied for their rightfully won SL spot, no one voted against them because it never went to a vote!

Crawl back to your hole!
