Yes he is young, but lets not forget players like Gaskill, Tomkins, Eastmond, Lomax are younger and have all eclipsed him.
We even have Wildie who is younger and a much better player IMHO. No doubt many other clubs have players younger than Moore who have better talent.
Like other posters have said I really think he is not SL ready and probably never will be .

We will have to agree to disagree then, I think he has a lot of potential myself.

| Moore for me is not a bad player but is one of those who is not S/L standard but better than championship standard.I always look at it this way how many youngsters in the past have we let go yes some will come back and haunt you but the vast amount wont make the grade.Remember years ago we had one in the colts who looked good he even went on to play for GB colts but ended up at Doncaster when they were at the very bottom in the late seventies it would be.Out of interest who remembers his name give you a clue he ended up playing prop for them far removed from where he played for the colts.

| Quote: Wildthing "Back on topic - if its Gareth Moore I won't be very happy.
I had high hopes for him next season.
There do seem to be a fair bit of smoke where Mr Agar is concerned re: the younger players.
I am getting a tad concerned myself.
as far as obst is concerned i can guarantee you he will not be coming to wakefield. been told by ra already that he is not in his plans. after telling him 2 months ago that he was. ewan is still waiting after being told by ra that he was in his plans he had heard nothing else after numerous phone calls. good news for obst is , one of my mates tell me that leeds might be interested.

You obviously did not go to the Hudds Giants game, Wildie not a bad player got potential'' but couldnt kick a barn door in general play or over the sticks ? so how do you IYHO have Wildie a better SH, as he is an acting half / hooker type player ?

Sam is effectively on hold whilst the Smith/Aiton saga is resolved I believe. He seems to be the back up plan but things are dragging on longer than is ideal. I'm sure RA is trying to get the best team on the park for the money he has available and you can't knock him for that. Its just maybe the way he's going about it thats not perfect. A lot of players are hanging on various lengths of string at the minute and theres a bit of a sense of unease about it all. The sooner the visa situation is sorted the better.

You said we had released Liam Higgins over a week ago, is that still true? I'm not doubting it isn't, just interested.

If Aiton has only just signed this week we'd better get some more string because his visa application will have only just been submitted. Glover told someone on twitter yesterday that Collis and Smith's visa applications are moving along without problem, it's just one of those things and takes time. This situation isn't ideal for anyone, and in a perfect world we would have completed recruitment before the end of last season. Sadly, and through no fault of our own, we're playing catchup as best we can. Elston might be getting it in the neck for making some of the signings, but it's a given that players like Lauititi wouldn't have still been available when Agar was officially appointed, and I can't wait to see a player with that amount of talent play for my team. Sure, we started recruiting months behind everyone else, including Widnes. But to be fair, I didn't think we would get in half as many potentially decent signings as we have.

Your particular brand of rumour-mongering lacks verisimilitude, simply because it's so relentlessly one-sided. Do you sit next to the players at Costa Coffee?

I bet you don’t, certainly not using words like that!

| Mr Hyde from what I understand. Apparently his attitude is the reason following an argument with Kear at the end of last season.
