I quite like the Webster "signing"

I think you are right. He can help the likes of Wildie, Moore and Kaye develop as players.

You'd think so but they haven't left much of a legacy on that front behind them? Baring in mind Webster also did a fair bit of coaching at KR (have two NRL imports at half backs) and together at Hull they had Long & Horne, now to be Seymour & Horne!

He didn't do much coaching at KR I don't think, just helped out/filled in where neccessary. Went to to Hull from Widnes (as i'm sure you know) midway through 2010 so hasn't exactly had a lot of time to turn their young halfbacks into worldbeaters.

James Webster did a stint as player coach at Hull KR when Harvey Howard left until Justin Morgan arrived. I think he was undefeated!

As I said, helped out/filled in. I think he'll go well for us.

Fair point though would have been helping out as experienced player in past too. Agar has been there a fair while though?

Be interesting to see how they do work out on that front as you clearly have the young half backs their so it's upto them 2 now to aide their development.

I know the cockayne signing is waiting till agar is back from Aus. 2 year deal and £90.000 a year apparently.

For a player supposedly in the last chance saloon and, one would imagine, short of options, thats a ridiculous salary. Agree with the above its more likely to be, at least I hope, 90k over two years.

I wouldn't think he was worth that much but more to the point why does anyone know the number?
I that is being discussed it is something the club need to tighten up on.
