I was very disappointed when we lost Walker. In the handful of games, he played he looked like the missing link to me. A prop who was genuinely tough. Without Fifita which is likely to be more and more common, we have no real bite upfront. Although the days of the enforcer are gone you still need a player who inflicts pain (legally) on the opposition and make the hard yards, especially if the pack is being dominated and we do at times. I just felt he played with just enough niggle, others may not feel the same.

I cant comment on what other clubs do. But the truth is the truth. I guess what you are saying is that you don't really want to know when a player is causing disruption behind the scenes because they are all so precious, but are quite happy to blame management when the club goes bust!

It's the same mentality of those who complain that the club is secretive and fans aren't kept informed or consulted (I always struggle with the notion of fans demanding to be consulted - invest a few £100k and put your house on the line, then you can have all the consultation you want).

Totally agree, it's like me buying a Ticket for Thorpe Park and then expecting to be included in all future planning and day to day operations of the venue. This is a forum, it's about opinions not censorship, I too can't wait for MC to come on here and share the FACTUAL insights and information with the fans, unfortunately those FACTUAL insights and information you naively dream about will only tell you what he thinks you need to know and bare little consequence to what's happening in the real world which doesn't quite fit in with your open and accessible CEO theory which is how it should be and is my point entirely, he should not be discussing club business on here other than telling you how many ST the club's sold along with shirts etc etc, putting you on the horse and not giving you a ride springs to mind here.
