| His dad is English, think there is at least some bloodline there unlike Rangi Chase. For me that counts more than you've lived in a country ex number of years.
PMSL if he did play for the exiles well and battered Crabtree and others and there were a few comments then made in the media about his English heritage. Plenty of experts on this forum that don't seem to recognise what he provides when fit and playing well. It's recognised by Amor in the paper this week whose opinion I value more.

| I think a few don't understand what he brings to the game but we all see it differently.
I'm happy with what i've seen so far.

I'm probably older than you unless you were also old enough to purchase tickets to see 1979 CC Cup Final?

| Quote: laurydaleysstrap "You cannot be serious, poore after a slow start has been outstanding, we went to hull and him missing was a major issue in the game, we really missed his ability to consistently suck in 3 players to make the tackle and stand up to them. their pack just had too much power, amor has been hitting form, wilkes has played well since coming back in,raleigh has yet to recreate last years form but carries the ball tirelessly - Poore is the power in the front row. More time on the sidelines - he turned his ankle ffs
For all of that the bailey smack was a highlight'"
Totally agree. Poore been great and he laid out 2 players that needed it

| Ok Tryscorer, you've seen some players in your time then so should be able to recognise a good 'un when you see one.
Did you see the last time we won a CC final then in 63? Seen some of your other threads.. .player coach eh Tryscorer? Was it for Underbank Rangers?
I accept I may well be wrong about Poore going any further than a possible bench spot for the exiles but I agree with other posts that he is a key member of the pack.
He's been good enough to play State of Origin 3 times and I think a State of Origin team would probably push our best England 17 really close so he's met the standard before and is only 27.

| Good props are hard to come by at the moment. Could this be the reason Kylie Leuluai has postponed his retirement and Hull resigned O'Meley. Wigan signed Lauaki but he seems to have dropped down the pecking order behind Crosby and Burke. They also forked out some coin for Scott Taylor from HKR. So when you look at the prop options we have, i would say we are looking pretty good. Maybe Poore knows this and is looking to have a strong second half to the season to up his stock, as we are not the strictest club when a player gets his head turned.
