I'm not sure I see TO winning another game, even at home.

Their opposition just have too much at stake and too much quality.

We can only hope that Saints do a Saints in one of the games and put out their scholarship team. I still think we'd struggle.

Tbh, the only wad we'd beat Saints is if they decided to either...

a) Stay on the bus, or
b) Go and have a look round trinity walk,,,,

Toulouse will win 3 more matches, I cant see us winning any. We are a busted flush, we are conceding 30 + points a match, we have zero leadership on the field, players are not playing for the coach, there is zero discipline and zero understanding of the game and match management. The players don`t give a toss most will get some sort of a gig next season, several already have a new club lined up. The man you feel sorry for is Willie who inherited the team and it seems to me that he is a really decent chap, despite that the players are not putting a shift for him. That said Willie has made mistakes, this Sat playing Croft and not Batch in the centre, not playing Bowden, poor management of the subs. There is only one option remaining and that is to sack the coach and his assistant and get someone new in, it needs to be someone who is tough on discipline who will give our work shy lot the rounds of the kitchen. Remember no paracute payment for the relegated team next season so those saying we cant afford to change the coach need to remember that we cant afford not to ; last throw of the dice. we get relegated then we go back to part time and no staff

Toulouse have beaten a weakened Sts side, Hull KR and us twice.
It's not like they are veating all comers so it isn't as certain as some think that they'll win all their home games left.
Ultimately, as Willie has said, it's in our control. We need to win as many games as they do and preferably not get hammered when we don't.

I agree with a lot of what you say, but.......like i posted the other day on here, look back to when he was given the job, those 5 wins had the likes of Senior, Josh & Kyle Wood, Green, Arundel all in the team, i couldn't find anyone, myself included who wanted those players to stay, all Chesters' signings, but Poching got more out of them?! I haven't got an answer as to why we are in the position we are in, apart from simply the players who have replaced the ones' i've mentioned aren't as good, or as committed as those ones' we all wanted out were, when Willie was given the job. icon_biggrin.gifOH:

Toulouse who had about 6 weeks to put a side together after winning promotion?! Who then signed an under-rated full-back, and a State of Origin stand-off who have completely transformed them?! We sign an unfit, out of condition prop. You need to give them a bit more credit i think, even though that's detracting from our own woefulness for whatever reason this season.

We have played tolouse three times and they have won 2 to 1.
Here we are again praying for someone to be worse than us and quite honestly its becomming tedious.
Dont be fooled in thinking all our troubles will be over with a new stand, they wont be. Because without a decent team crowds will drop. A winning team on the pitch is 90 % of the reasons crowds increase.

We have been lucky in that having been SL for a long time have always had the edge over the promoted team but eventually we will get caught out and this season is looking like our luck could finally run out.

The bottom line is that our bod may be good and work hard but they dont have the resources of the rest of SL . Top flight rugby is a rich mans game and you need to be in that financial league to compete.

Will the game miss us if we get relegated, well not on my opinion. I can think of four championship clubs given a crack at SL for a couple of seasons that would be more resourced than us.

Warrington Vs Toulouse LOSS

'"

Really difficult, and that's why this sits so uncomfortably. I can genuinely see us beating Hull FC at their place, and HKR at Belle Vue. I can also genuinely see Toulouse not winning any of their fixtures....

Unfortunately, I can also see Wakey not winning any more (that's not a dig, but a reflection that they are ALL tough fixtures remaining) and I can also see Toulouse beating Salford and Hull FC in France, as Avenger has predicted......

Two totally different outcomes, both completely feasible, but perhaps the crystal ball will be a little clearer in three weeks time, when Toulouse have had their three home games on the bounce.....

I'm going to go the middle way, cross my fingers and say:

11th Wakefield 12pts
12th Toulouse 10pts

I think both teams will pick up a couple of wins each and we'll stay up by the skin of our teeth again. Likely just delaying the inevitable for one more year though.

Oh don't worry. I think they've done an outstanding job and if it was anyone else but us I'd want them to stay up.
They are no mugs but I don't think it's a foregone conclusion they will win all their home games.
If they do then they probably deserve to day up.

This weekend will give us a good idea on our chance because Hull KR is a game we could win and Toulouse against a resurgent Leeds they could lose. If we lose and they win with home advantage I think our survival chances are virtually nil.
The team have had several chances to put this situation to bed with two games against Toulouse and one against a weakened Huddersfield team unfortunately we lost all of them.

The club are about to become better resourced with the new developments. The whole club and players need to be fighting hard to ensure the clubs survival so it can go on to thrive in the coming years. Honestly I can’t imagine one of those players wants relegation tag round their necks.

There are 18 points left on offer and we need to go out there to try and get them all.

The most important thing though to sort is the defence and discipline. We can not keep collapsing in games for 20 minutes and more even when facing adversity.
