I know this isnt isolated to Wakefield but £25 is steep compared to other entertainment options.'"
In terms of "£25 is steep", what are you comparing us to ?

| How many tickets are we giving away compared to other clubs Take Hudds are they still giving season tickets at half price .Toulouse are they giving tickets away This is it if you got no Suger Daddy .who is ok to give\lose thousand a season you will get bigger crowds(.Except Cas lol) but they have been on great run under Powell .That proves if we can start playing great rugby (Think we are going in the right direction this season) and start getting to sem-finals and getting in to the top 6 the crowds will come back .Know it itcould only be a extra 2 thousand at the most But we know we have the people in charge who could turn that extra cash into making us in to a bigger club without giving free tickets away and putting us thousands of pounds in det

| Get a win on Sunday in front of the camera’s and I’m sure it will put a buzz about the place and the city ,and keeping up the performances will go a long way to getting the stay aways back and hopefully some new fans in the making

And the Toulouse fixture that had virtually no away support.

| And Hull who had the usual good following.
Its not so much now but the end of the season when the figures matter.
A good run and a semi final along with Insentives for new supporters and I would have thought a good 2 thousand could be added.
Let's see.

Cas got 7.5k against Toulouse.
We can't use that as an excuse. It's out support that matters, not the away support.

To increase the average by 2k we'll need a few 8k attendances.

| Only a small thing in the big Scheme of things I know but I thought those A boards on trailers at the main roads into the city advertised the next games well and I’m sure it would still be effective in getting more footfall through the gates ,especially the cup run ,then it’s down to the club and team to keep them coming back .

| We do poptar, but start with the Cats Shuds games and target new support and younger supporters.
We also have Cas HKR at home and target those games to attract over 8000.

IIRC our attendance is currently limited to around 7000 so, 8000 cant happen.
Hopefully, when we have the new stand and upgrade in the north stand, we can get back to some decent (8000+) crowds

And you could walk round the park for nowt but, we're talking about a top flight rugby league club here and the players, staff and upkeep of the club all need paying for
and most of us want to see the club get better and better.
For me, £25 isn't bad at all.
Perhaps there should be "family" tickets available at a good rate, which would encourage more kids coming through the turnstiles and every club wants those.

I suppose this is relative to the target audience.
I recently took the family to watch the Leeds Knights ice hockey team. We got a promotional discount through my sons junior football team meaning that the kids went free and adult tickets were £10 each So 2 adults and 3 kids total £20. and the kids loved it.
We have been since and a family ticket for 2 adults and 3 kids costs £44.
The same tickets to watch Wakey v Cas would be £85.
I certainly noticed that the demographic was different too, lots of families and younger people watching and the venue was a sell out. (2K ish)
To watch a premiership football match (west ham v burnley) £63 £30 adults and u16s £1
I definitely think that some type of family ticket should be available if we want to attract new supporters for the future.

They did for our game last season but it depends on the tickets available too. It was peeing it down all that week prior.
