Hi all,
Still here and looking forward to the new season very much. Nothing can be worse than this DRFC season!
I was going to post on Monday, as on my break, I watched a bit of retro Rugby League on Sky Sports and it was the game vs. Cas at BV in 2006 - can't lie, I wasn't in to my Rugby League then much, but nice to see a result against that lot!

No worries -
Mrs BG ordered me something for Xmas off t'internet and that came with it spelt Torquey!
No mate, the "new" League 1. Its was 2004-5 season.
Got robbed by those cheats the (fake) MK Dons when we played them away.
We were winning 2-0 and following some dodgy ref decisions, we lost 3-2
...they survived on GD and we were relegated back to L2....

Must admit, BG, a lovely place. Had many holidays there in last ten years. Riviera, Abbey Lawn, Devonshire hotels.
Many years ago as a kid in the late fifties I sent letters off to many football clubs begging a programme for my collection. Two clubs very kindly sent me six different samples...... Accrington Stanley and Torquay United. Shame when both clubs lost League status.
