Reece Lyne
Mason Caton-Brown
Ryan Hampshire
Liam Finn
Anthony England
Kyle Wood
Jordan Baldwinson
Matty Ashurst
Justin Horo
Tinirau Arona
Subs
Scott Grix - I'd like to see Jowitt get 60 minutes to show what he can do before Grix is brought on
Keegan Hirst
Pauli Pauli
Jacob Miller - Give Hampshire the first half to see how he plays with Finny
Christian Ackroyd - To give Finn a rest later on
James Batchelor
Danny Kirmond
Jordan Crowther
Chris Annakin
Lee Kershaw
These last 5 can all be spelled with the 2nd row and LF'"
Hampshire seems more like a replacement for Finn so, it would be good to see how he and Miller worked as our halves ?

I see Hampshire and Miller as quite similar in style of play. I'm not sure I'd see either of them as a replacement for Finn (unless they adapt their games)

Millers organising game while not on Finns level yet has improved a lot since his arrival. I can see Miller eventually moving to 7 and Hampshire 6.

Same here, I see Ackroyd as a long term replacement for Finn.

Please take this as the throw away comment it's meant but i don't think i've ever seen a bigger difference in size than Ackroyd and Pauli, worth the admission alone!!
no idea if either are any good, but it sure made me smile.

That's probably why I like the lad. To be that small but not be out of place with the likes of PP you've got to have something special about you.
I agree, I haven't seen many smaller than Ackroyd and I've certainly not seen many bigger than PP. It was like Windsor Davis and lofty.

I saw some of MacDermotts comments about their big (polish sounding) young prop, that he needed more courage or heart, just imagine needing that whilst also being a relative midget!!
i know kear has gone but we are building a classic Kear team with loads of big props and nuggety tough playmakers.

A bit off topic: Someone bought me the John Kear book "Coaching is chaos" Great read with insight into his full career from scoreboard operator at Cas up to coaching Batley about 2012. The "Wakey Wakey" chapter especially relevant to poster on here.

On that topic, Kear was on Radio Leeds last night for an hour, was a brilliant piece were he talked in detail about his whole career - I think you should be able to catch it on the Iplayer... It`s definitely worth a listen!

| Don’t think the team got out of second gear today. Could’ve just as easily been 80-0.
Good team performance and the defence was rock solid all game. Couple of good solid performances from the younger players Crowther, Ackroyd and Kershaw.
