| He certainly has a point although if they wanted to beat Saints and secure a higher placed finish, they could have rested Clark, Sandow, Hill and a couple of others against us 
Seriously though, they do appear to have been dis-advantaged by playing their semi final later. |

If we'd have somehow won the Semi and had to lay 5 days later I'd imagine CC saying the same thing tbf. Saying that their teams just about fully fit and they've got some good squad players so they could rotate a bit.

Smith is a real advocate for the sport, what sometimes looks like a 'Warrington' whinge is more a general welfare of the game and players.
Smith is a decent guy, shows nothing but respect for other teams, coaches and fans yet still people see him as arrogant or smug??
I agree wholeheartedly with this and it's nothing to do with me being a Warrington fan.

Anyone who thinks Smith (Tony that is) is arrogant is either a Wigan supporter or bitter or both. I don't think you'll find anyone on this forum that has a bad word to say about him. |

He's not arrogant in an overt way, and not at all towards the opposition.
I think he's arrogant in team selection sometimes, I think he mugs the Wire fans off too with some of his excuses when we lose. The fact he would drop players left right and centre for poor performances yet never dropped Asotasi.
Penny this year hasn't put a foot wrong...gets dropped yet other players have been woeful and kept their spot. There's an arrogance about him there, but other than that, he's always a gentleman. |

Hate to say it but Asotasi had perhaps 2 good games in 2 years for us. |
