| I am afraid he believes himself to be better than his current form suggests. That is the problem at Leeds the players are used to being the centre of all things Super League and will find it hard to endure defeat on a regular basis. He obviously believes it is the fault of others that they are losing.
The opposite is that A player signs for Wakefield knowing we will give them a chance. We hope they will stay and improve the club, to be honest most we have sold in the past were to keep the club afloat. I note that Atkins still keeps in touch because we gave him the chance and he helped the club financially.

| Is he good enough to hack it in the NRL given the gulf in quality of our the two leagues.
To me its a statement that he isnt prepared for the fight for Leeds that lays ahead.
If he was to stay in Super League I think we are ok with Max Jowitt but also the £300k is a massive price tag.
My only intereest here would be that he is a full back with an attacking flair who can play in other positions. Could he cover 6 and 7.

| Yes I agree.
But then if no team go in for him then his salary cap value would drop.
It isnt that long ago that the rumours were rife about Chase who was reported to be on £250k.
I heard Hall was on around £100k and we haf offered around the same for Scruton to stay.
It has been said by MC that if we get average crowd to 6000 then he will spend full cap next year. Were about 800 off that at the moment but Leeds and Cas are usually bumper home crowds. Not to mention Saints and whatever we could get in super 8s

| I think it is nothing more than forum talk because if he thinks he is better than the Leeds club what opinion will he have of us.

We'll be saving about a £100K next year then when he goes to Canada.

He will become a better player for being over there

That was a spoof mate, but a good one and believable.

| We don't need a player like hardaker to spoil the dressing room, seems a bit of an egotist

| Word on the Leeds board is that there's a good and understandable personal reason for Hardaker to want out of Leeds, and that the club are supporting him to do so for that very reason. I'm not sure how supportive setting his price at 300k is mind you - it's a fantasy figure for a kid who has been gash all season and has a history of conduct issues.

| Canberra have said a flat no. Whitehead and Hodgson have had an opinion.

Is it so he can avoid extradition or so he can feel more at home with fellow convicts?

If Hall and Scruton are on that kind of money then I think I'm off down for a trial.
They're not worth it.
