| Tupou played against Hull, probably just got a niggle - infact wouldn't be surprised to see him play against Leeds. I think he will (I dont have any inside knowledge, just think its a possibility).

| Tupou isn't in the squad so unless there is an injury, he isn't playing against Leeds.

I thought Lynn looked solid.
Good defence and scored a try by chasing a "lost cause"
Those that beat Shudds deserve to keep their spot, unless they have taken a knock or, there is some tactical benefit in making a change.

| Need to take into consideration the short turn around and possible knocks that could have been picked up. I thought Lyne was solid and only mistake was being dragged in when Murphy went in through a Broughy pass but apart from that did everything else really well, however since he has just returned from an injury maybe give BJB a run and see if he can top Lynes performance and earn a place in the 17 for Salford because BJB is not a fullback in a million years especially at this level he offers no other aspect coming round the back as he is unable to pick the right pass or go himself (usually goes himself when theres a clear overlap that any other fullback would have seen). He is a winger and a centre at a push, if we want to get our moneys worth and he is performing he needs to be on the wing IMO.
Think the main thing tomorrow will be wrapping the ball up and slowing down their play as they throw the ball around an awful lot but with their injuries and how we played on Friday I am hoping for a win!

| Since I seem to have developed some magical ability to influence games adversely, I'm predicting a heavy defeat, as per Shudds.

My plan exactly but don't tell Moggy as he'll crucify me (apt).

This^
Leeds and Cas should have been a double header tbf.
If we're going to talk about the fine line between winning and losing, the comparative recovery time enjoyed be Leeds is almost certain to be a factor.
An extra day on a week is neither here nor there but a 2 day turn around is tough, playable if both teams are on it, this rubbish should be sorted out really.
Catalans are grabbing their ankles too, but at least they're at home.

| That's the problem when you run a game to fit with TV schedule s. The whole games a joke with regard to fixtures no one team should have an advantage over another. Thursday night fixtures should be kicked out ASAP.

Well, he played against Saints and Hull FC so I'm not quite sure where you've got that from....

| I'm not sure I'd play Jowett today. He was great on Friday but this turnaround is tough enough for seasoned pros and might be too big an ask for Max today. In my mind we would be better giving him time to reflect on his performance and prepare for Saturday, yet another short turnaround and a potential killer for the players.

Get your point but I tend to go with the alternative view.
I think he is young and easily capable of the two game. Added to this he's really up now and probably hasn't come down from Friday. With this in mind I'd let him carry on, his slump will inevitably come as it does with young players but I'd be surprised and worried if it were spent after one game - let him run with it I say. Even a half d performance will still be better than his predecessors.
