| I’m sure if Wakefield had lost Brian Smith would have let loose too.
Maybe Lowes’s job was on the line & straight after such a crushing blow he’d have been better declining an interview.
The commentator should have asked him why they went for the two, instead of going for glory, I for one was so relieved they did, whilst berating the referee for going to the V.R.

| He was wrong about the ref. He seemed to get things right and wrong for both teams.
As for the concept, what was his point? Should be the top 4 of the middle 8's to stay up? Bulls stay down. Winner of Championship comes up? Didn't Leigh win it? What he blew was the chance of a home fixture (although he probably expected us to beat Sheffield).
The big problem for Bradford is that they may not get as good a chance as that. They are blessed with a couple of players who are too good for the league (Purtell and Gaskell) and will never meet a poorer side.
The bigger risk to the format is that the Super League clubs smash the Championship sides for 7 games but then a Championship club comes up for just one good day. Perhaps the best format is simply to have it as top 4 stay up out of middle 8's. But then again, the excitement could be lost early on.

| I think it's a great concept. If they'd been playing Salford in the MPG I'd have supported Bradford.
I feel for Jimmy. Wrong time to talk to him, but he was wrong.

| I can't quite work out what he was on about - which perfectly good try was disallowed? And all that stuff about the concept - it didn't make any sense.
Poor Jimmy - bad time to interview him - he's done himself and his club no favours at all.

| Just seen the very brief highlights on Sky news in Africa. I have to say Lowes came across as a clown anybody neutral watching his post match interview to the sport of Rugby League would wonder what the sport is about. He ws vry poor indeed and potentialy damaging to the sport

| Maybe he's on about Wakeys 2nd try which never was, because Silverwood gave Simon offside from a charge down (which he couldn't be)?
Game could have been over early doors.

To be fair, Wayne Bennett wouldn't have got us to 3rd under the current rules. You'd need two SL clubs to completely implode for a Championship club to bridge the gap under the current rules.

Think it's fair to say we've pretty much imploded this year

Perhaps so and is probably why we came as close as we did to getting the result yesterday. In fact I still believe that squad we had yesterday was good enough so it was definitely a lost opportunity. I can't see such an opportunity in the future unless the rules are altered. Are Wakefield looking to strengthen considerably or are you looking at a similar season to this in 2016?

In the week leading up to the game Carter said if we stayed up we had some exciting signings lined up. Now his definition of exciting may differ from ours but let's wait and see

I believe that now we're making a profit, we will be building more this year which is a good thing and all down to MC and CB for all their hardwork and dedication while receiving flack from our own fans. Onwards and upwards!

| Well that's definitely a plus for SL because you obviously haven't been competitive this year. Not sure where that leaves this new concept though. Probably in the garbage bin by 2017.

He must hate coming down to Belle Vue more than Eddie Hemmings.
Did anyone else remember when he was Warrington coach and he got into a right argument with a wakey fan. The more he argued the more Warrington crumbled???
